Nannies on Call is an excellent service! I used it when I needed childcare for my Toddler Son. The Nanny was prompt, professional, keen and very caring. As soon as she walked in, I knew my son was in good hands. She even got him to nap in the afternoon : ) It proves how comfortable my son was with the Nanny because he won't nap for just anyone. He loved the bag of toys she brought for the service call. The agency did all the legwork in finding someone, and they followed up, even after the service. The agency was very easy to work with, easy to reach and very professional. As a parent, its very reassuring that Nannies on Call pre-screens the Nannies. I am so happy Nannies on call expanded to the Ottawa area and I won' t hesitate to call them again!!!

Unfortunately, the service received leaves much to be desired. We had requested a Permanent Nanny Placement through their sister company 'The Nanny Solution'. But we continued to receive part time nannies through 'Nannies on call'. The nannies would show up late and were generally unreliable. Each time we'd leave one of the kids to their supervision, a generally happy kid would start crying. We feel that some of the nanny profiles submitted to us did not accurately reflect their true prior experiences since they appeared quite incompetent in engaging with kids. We wouldn't hire them even as baby-sitters, let alone as full time nannies.

I started working for Nannies on Call in Vancouver in 2012 and it has been amazing. All the ladies who work in the agency's office are super nice and super helpful. Also the families who use Nannies on Call services are very special. Plus the system is very easy and convenient. I am so happy to be able to join the team in Ottawa now!!

Alison in Ottawa is absolutely amazing!!! She has the most caring attitude and is always offering to help out in the community. She is so reliable and will always find the best for the families she is working with. She’s a gem!!!
