Alliance Dental Coldbrook

I drive an hour to go to Aliiance Dental in Coldbrook. That should speak for the service and experience. Such a great bunch of people and so friendly, professional, and always willing to answer your questions.

It's taken me awhile to write about my experience with Alliance Dental. The dentists and other staff I've seen there, while friendly seemed too casual and lacking good diagnostic skills.I've been suffering for 3 years with oral Lichen Planus and they were good about sending to specialists. In the meantime, repairs were being down on existing fillings as well as new. I kept expressing my concern over dark spots near the gum line and it was brushed off. Until a hole appeared and I demanded x-rays. It was then they told me that all these teeth they'd been working on were so badly decayed they would have to be pulled out. ALL of my back teeth I'm absolutely devastated and feel it could have been avoided had they listened and performed routine checks...while I was in the chair on the many occasions I visited. I've completely lost all faith in this clinic.If I was able to see something wrong, surely a trained professional ought to have been able to detect the decay before it progressed so far. It puts me in the most dire so where I'm not able to wear any kind of denture (due to the lichen planus)and the only viable tooth replacement are implants. Dental insurance covers a bit but few people I know can afford roughly $30,000. What a miserable thing to add to the experience of having open lesions inside my mouth and on my tongue. Last 3 years has been so painful and draining, both mentally and physically so, coping with the very idea of having all those teeth pulled is just too much. I don't know what to do other than warn anyone else who has other health issue and needs better quality care. Meat and potatoes" dentistry at best"

Pleasant, efficient, professional service from reception, through treatment, to departure. Dr. Mackey is a thorough professional who enjoys his work and does it well. This is what a visit to the dentist should be like.

Everyone from the front admin staff, hygienist and dentist are kind, caring and treat you will respect. Everything is explained so no surprises. I like that. I am glad to have them as my dental office.

I recently transferred from Alliance Dental in Wolfville to Alliance Dental in Coldbrook.Every single staff member that I came across (at both locatons) were super nice.At this visit, i had a chip in my back tooth that was discovered at my cleaning, the old silver filling has to be removed, and the whole tooth fixed with a new filling. The Hygienist and Dentist were awesome, ensuring I was comfortable during the whole procedure.I highly recommend Alliance Dental.Thank you for the wonderful experience.
