St. Virgin Mary's& St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church is a place of worship located at Eglinton west, the church has a beautiful banquet to host many occasions, they have a day care and an Elementary school too, nice place for multiple activities. The walls of the church is telling a story about the Ancient Egyptian & Christian history of Egypt.

December 2022 5*Visited the place with kids on Christmas. It is an auspicious day so want to teach kids about different religions and it’s importance. I firmly believe that diversity is the beauty of this world.We visited both prayers hall - The Virgin Mary and Saint Athanasius. It is amazing to see both the prayer halls.There is small book store if you are looking to buy literature. Also there is gift shop inside the complex. Divine place for Christian so one should visit it.The place is fully accessible and has washroom facility.

Big Coptic church. Multiple baptism rooms and chapels, the biggest of all of them (I like the Oakville one as that's the one we go to regularly but this is a close second).Kids a bit noisy and running around the hall but I guess there than on the street.Has a food court? Too?The catering was good here too for an event we had. Yum!

Faith: 5/5 (Oriental Orthodox, Alexandrian tradition)Choir: 5/5 (Cantor Ⲑⲁⲣⲟⲩⲁⲧ is the bomb)Icons: 2/5 (no Coptic icons, random paintings of Jesus where the hand to face ratio are usually off. Solid woodwork though)Covid friendly: 5/5 (the ushers were doing a great job, esp with dealing with those people who don't wanna follow the rules)Projector: 5/5 (They use Coptic Reader and the projects are pretty visible from anywhere in the church)
