I was craving Chinese food for so long, and there aren't many Chinese restaurants near me, so I was happy when Hakka Xpress opened in my neighborhood.My husband went to pick up lunch and it turned out it was their first day open and the food was AMAZING. Safe to say they've satisfied my cravings because we've been back for more already.If you're looking for great Chinese food look no further

The general taos is not spicy or flavourful at all 2/5 the orange chicken is nasty old chicken maybe buttery taste 1/5 bad ordering experience with the payment system gave it a shot would not give it a another one though spend your money elsewhere or just keep it place will be gone soon enough just like the other places that keeps replacing that spotUpdate staff replaced my orange chicken for Chicken 65 which prolly best food they have changed review to 3/5 stars still not interested on going back

I tried their chilly momos (veg), it was the first time I visited there and oh my god the food was really awesome, I can’t even describe in words !!!! Do visit them!

Ordered Hakka noodles, fried rice, chicken chilli,chicken manchurian and black pepper chicken. Personal fav was the noodles and black pepper chicken. Really enjoyed the food. Must try!

Due to the high ratings decided to check this place out hoping for great results; June 14/2023 ordered the FAMILY FEAST:3 large mains: chilli chicken, sesame chicken, Beijing beef2 large sides: fried rice and Hakka noodlesFindings ratings: 1/5Main - Chilli chicken = 2 (chicken tasted dry and old)Main - Sesame chicken = 2 (chicken tasted dry and old)Main - Beijing beef = 1 (beef was chewy and not palatable)Side - Fried rice = 0 (wet and no enjoyable flavours)Side - Hakka noodles = 1 (wet and didn't taste like Hakka)I really wanted to have a great experience with this place. However, it was simply not what was expected from the customer reviews.Main complaint is that the food was under done and cold; seems the cook was rushing (seemed inexperienced). Also witnessed cook tasting the food while cooking and asking the cashier if it tasted right (this was the Hakka noodles). All in all, would not recommend.

Definitely their sign says it all Food with soul. A must visit restaurant in mountainash Plaza newly opened. Staff is super friendly their Gravy Manchurians were 10/10 with Fried rice. Pick a bowl combo is something you should try. Highly recommend this location if you are in the area.

Tried it for the second time.Ordered noodles and chicken momos .Noodles were quite good in quantity and tasteChicken momos were okeyish.Filling inside was little bitter and no salt kinda in taste.

See food is good but when you give only two pieces of chicken is not a good business idea. Staff is good but am spending money can spend extra money either give more quantity more than 2 pieces or as for extra money no issues in paying it thank you . Ambiance and songs are really good too thank you
