Purple Cow Gift Shop

I found a unique gift in the online store and went to checkout to make the purchase. A glitch occurred in the process and the system would not take my address. I phoned the store to see if I was inputting something incorrectly. They had just discovered a software problem that they worked very quickly to correct. They sent a very nice email apologizing for the problem and explaining what had happened. I completed the order and was pleasantly surprised, when I received my item, to find a very nice Thank you card included thanking me for my patience with the problem. When your last name is Murphy you just come to expect glitches so I thought all in all that this was very friendly and exceptional online purchase with great communication and personalized service.

We didn't not look at the days the store was closed. They were working on stock I asked if we could grab 3 teddies for our kids so we can have a little memory from our time in Fairmont and they opened up just so we could! I have never had a store so that for us! It was amazing and greatly appreciated! Thank you so much from us and our kidlets!

Unlike the name suggests there is no grape flavoured milk in this store. However the edible shirts are very fun and delicious.

This store is beautiful. Gorgeous displays, great selection and the staff working was wonderful. Super friendly, and helpful. I bought a candle that smelled amazing, and she gave me a little gift bag full of mementos. Really made me happy to support the local, unique shops in Fairmont.

Great assortment of stuff for the whole family. From toys for kids, adults to wine and local arts n crafts. Good fudge too! The review from 2019 is still valid now in 2023.

Lovely gift shop! Price is reasonable and found some items cheaper than Calgary. Must check out place in Fairmont.

Great little locally owned gift shop. Lots of selection of assorted gifts and toys including location specific (Fairmont Hot Springs) souvenirs. Had a good chat with the lady working there (owner?) and left with some really unique items, even picked up a Fairmont postcard that was a picture taken by the nice lady we chatted with. Great little store that is a must stop for people looking for a souvenir or cool gift.

Amazing customer service plus there is lots of cool things to browse through and buy. A very warming atmosphere

Although there tons of great souvineres here, the manager/worker was very cold. We came in about 15-20 minutes before closing time and he never smiled. Furthermore, my mom apologized to him for coming so late and, instead of being a normal person and saying, “It’s okay! I’m happy you’re here.” or something along the lines, he didn’t respond at all (but he definitely heard her). This place was pricey too.

Went in this gift shop, and was immediately profiled. My brothers were being followed the entire time by the lady at the counter. Service was terrible no one greets you and a lot of the merchandise is overpriced and can be found online. La galleria is a much better bang for your buck.
