I initially found Uniquely Yours on Houzz. I had never hired a designer before and needed help with a kitchen remodel on a 1970's country home. One of my biggest concerns was finding a designer who could help me transform and update the space while being mindful of the rest of the house. Uniquely Yours was highly rated and their design photographs were beautiful.I was quite nervous about the process, but after meeting Donna and Ashley, I felt instantly reassured. They are both warm, personable, and straight-forward people. Still, I figured mine would be a challenging project as our home is incredibly quirky and my husband and I were at a loss about what we liked and which direction to take. Luckily, Donna took charge. As we witnessed her designs come to fruition, we were truly amazed with the results. What impressed me the most was the time and energy she spent to understand us and our needs. This was not a random one-size-fits-all creation, it was carefully tailored to our own personal needs and lifestyle.We loved Uniquely Yours so much that we started branching into other rooms that we had not intended to remodel. My husband and I joke that we didn't realize how ugly our home really was until Donna remodeled it!
