Fantastic, Professional customer service from Sydnie! She is very knowledgeable and happy to take the time to help me find the right products I needed to complete my projects and she was very happy to answer all my questions and explain in detail why she recommended the products that she did.

Guys & Gals at this location you are only get a 3 cause of your Sherwood Park locations good service and in association with themI came to this location 4 times to never get any help or even spoken to. Asked for you to look for a piece for me and call me when you see what you have with no callWent to Sherwood location and bought a $2000 piece of woodHopefully you guys and gals will fix your location up to match the excellent service at your Sherwood location!I live in Spruce and will skip your spot to travel to Sherwood for all my wood needsHope this is rating will give your group the ambition to step up the game!

This is my favorite store to purchase fine woods. Made several things with there products. The staff is ultra helpful and friendly. I have gone in there to browse and time flies looking around. Clean, well organized and really pleasant to shop. Plus... Lee Valley Tools is only a 30 second walk to buy stuff to work on the wood you just bought. A win win. Soooo many possibilities.

Love the selection in the store. Any of the low ratings are well deserved when it comes to customer service. Store leadership, it is one thing to respond to a poor rating and say “sorry”, it’s another to do something about it. Perhaps start with putting personal cell phones and the distraction they cause away. A thank you might not hurt either.

where to begin with this place? first don't shop there they have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have never been treated so terrible in my entire life. They are rude, they lie, and the girl with long hair and glasses is the worst of them and should be fired. I would say what happened over a course of a week but would be to long of a review. I did end up with a door machined backwards at the end of it all. I did not get an apology and of course would not fix that same day. Nope had to go back for the 6th or 7th time. At the end of the day Stan Zizek owns this store along with 2 others in Edmonton. When I asked for the owner to call me to report this bad behavior, I was told he was out of the county, I said well when he gets back then. they said he's rarely in the country I then asked for an email of course does not have one, just the store email. Stan if you want to know what's going on in your stores try staying in the country. I do know these stores are individual owned however I will never step foot in any Windsor Plywoods again.

Vanessa was amazing at hunting down the solid-core doors we needed for our clients and got them in and turned in under the promised time-frame! Exceeding expectations is great customer service! Thanks!

My husband and I were greeted when we entered the store and quickly shown several options that might work for our project. After leaving us to make our decision, the salesperson loudly began to share their political views with the other staff standing around the counter. It was not a casual conversation but a charged rant. The atmosphere was tense and did not feel safe. We left.

Picked up my order and they had two guys load all my doors and trim. I didn't have to lift a thing. Feels like I travelled back in time, I never see customer service like this anymore! Will be back for sure

I’m very disappointed with my experience. Although they gladly changed my door order the next day before it went through. I was helped by a woman who told me she would be working on a specific day and she would help me figure out the correct size of my door and also recommend a place to have the door painted. I arrived the day she told me and asked for her and was told she had the day off. She knew the whole story and confusion and told me to come in when she was working. Only to be lied too. I then had to explain the story to this new person who didn’t understand. Finally when that was done I explained how she said they had someone who painted or a recommended place. He and another employee were again perplexed then said oh maybe she meant and said a name. They then scrambled around trying to find a business card or phone number and said they weren’t sure. Never did get that information. I was then told it would take a week for my door to be ready and I would receive a phone call when ready to be picked up. My spouse called 2 weeks later and was told that it wasn’t ready. At the 3 week mark he called again and they told him it was ready. Why didn’t they call me to let me know? Not only was the product only in my name. They let my spouse leave with the door without proof or verifying that he was the owner of the door. I asked for the door to be prehung this was not completed. Which is fine, but the door was not even predrilled for hinges. I was under the impression that the frame would come assembled as well and that was not the case. The employees did not care to educate or answer questions I had. When my father in law and husband went to pick up the trim for our project. My father-in-law asked why the door we previously picked up was not prehung like we requested. The gentleman did not care to respond. From what I can see this West Edmonton location has poor customer service. I like buying from Canadian owned companies so I’ll try the other locations. This location did not hold up to its reputation.

Every time I come here I am surprised with how awful the customer service is. I have come here on 3 separate occasions over the last year and the folks that work here are so grumpy. They seem to be under-staffed and it's hard to get help. One of the older staff members usually kind, he has helped me each time and he seems to be the only one patient and offers advice. The one on the north side (st Albert trail) has MUCH friendlier staff. Each location is privately owned so the level of service varies so greatly.
