Excellent Scottish pub with nice atmosphere in a super quaint town near Mennonite country. Loved the Bangers and Mash and the Poutine was excellent.

We chose this place for dinner due to ratings but our experience was disappointing. We were told the wait for seating is 30 minutes but actually was close to 50. Apparently the kitchen was behind because it was also handling a wedding party next door at Scozia. WTH? So the Fergusson's patrons play second rate? Then folks who called ahead" were seated before walk-ins. Best to inform diners this at the get go.My bloody Caesar was fantastic! My husband said his roast duck was very good. My sheppard's pie was on the dry side. The venue is nicely decorated and cozy but we'll probably pass next time around."

This used to be our go-to spot, and it wasn't uncommon for us to go twice a week. We were known as regulars and had rapport with pretty much all the team members. Weekly specials were a great offer and we often enjoyed wing or burger night. This week we went in for a Sunday lunch. Our server/bartender was spectacular as always, friendly and fun to banter with. We had French Onion soup and 2 pints of Guinness each. The soup was delicious and exactly what we wanted. The bill was another matter. This place has raised its prices exponentially in the last year or so. While I know restaurants have to cover rising food costs, the increases here seem excessive when compared with other places in town. We're now up to 10-dollar pints and the total for two soups and 2 pints each was nearly 70 dollars not including tip. They've had many editions of the menu recently and have struggled with supply chain issues, but one memorable edition of the menu incorporated price hikes by not-so-cleverly hiding the old prices under liquid paper, most of which scraped off with use. In all, while we still enjoy the occasional trip to our 'local', we're spending a lot of time elsewhere in town, largely due to value for money.

The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I am leaving this review immediately after leaving the restaurant. They had my party of 6 wait over an hour and a half for 2 burgers, nachos, and calamari. We arrived at the restaurant and ordered and while we were there, two other groups sat down. Nobody got any food while we were there. The waitress was very kind and understandable and explained to me how it's the chef's first week and the chef is preparing food for the restaurant next door as well. So they were getting food and we were getting absolutely nothing for over an hour and a half. The waitress assured me the food would be worth the wait and how the chef makes a great burger. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth. For $23+tax and after waiting nearly 2 hours, they presented me what looked like a slider with a small fry. You can't even see the beef. I felt insulted just looking at it. There was MAYBE 3oz of beef and it was mostly just bread. We didn't get the nachos or calamari in that time frame either.I decided I was going to pay for my pint of beer and go eat else where because this establishment clearly did not respect my time or money. The strangers sitting next to us, who were waiting there for their food for over an hour, expressed the same dissatisfaction we were. We decided to ask them if their water tasted like beer. They said yes. Our 6 waters and their 4 waters all tasted like beer. I've never been to a pub that had such a bad problem with WATER. In hindsight, we should have ran for the hills after tasting how awful if was. After a long day out on the town, this restaurant" left an awful taste in my mouth and all I had was their water.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME OR MONEY.There are businesses out there that respect you. This is not one of them."

Waited 2 hours for appetizers to arrive, the water tasted like beer, the burger was a children's portion, and the food was clearly frozen. So I left after paying for my drink. The waitress was a sweetheart and she deserves a raise.I don't know why the manager didn't come speak to us.

One of my favorite pubs in the Fergus/Elora area. They have a wide variety of pub foods made with various tasty ingredients as well as a nice bar to socialize and watch a game with your friends or even just chat. If you ever head to Fergus then the Fergusson room located in the Breadalbane inn is an absolute must see.

I recently dined at a charming restaurant that surpassed my expectations. The service was friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease. The restaurant wasn't busy, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The brisket was incredibly tender, a true highlight. The burger was good, satisfying my craving. The historic-looking location added charm, creating a unique ambiance. The staff accommodated our walk-in party of six with ease. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience worth recommending.

Just sad. Water tasted like beer .....Waited over an hour and a half for food just to be served a mediocre frozen burger that cost $23 + tax. Paid for drinks and left. Don't waste your precious time or money on this place. The manager was to scared to even come to the table after.Only bright side was our server was nice.

This is a great pub! Finished work and was looking for a good place to have some food and a drink. I had Michelle as a waitress and she did a great job of serving and recommending dinner. I got the beef brisket and it was better then I anticipated. I definitely recommend this place!
