Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm

This year was a huge disappointment. They’re charging admission even though there was no parking left. They’ve torn down the play structure and haven’t replaced it. Admission should cover something. After that we waited in an hour and a half line up to have breakfast. Yes it was probably one of their busiest days of the year and we fully anticipated a wait but when we got in we saw that they had a lot of empty tables and the only reason there was a wait was because they only had one person taking payments. Then we spent 15 more minutes waiting for our food making it a two hour ordeal to have what was lunch at this point. They no longer have the buffet we were looking forward to so this was cafeteria style service. They are also stingy with the syrup no longer leaving it on the tables…. At the place where they make the syrup. The kids meals had one pancake and maybe 2 tablespoons of hash browns. I don’t mind spending money on an activity for my family and also spent money in the gift shop but the admission plus the food makes it an overpriced below average breakfast (cold eggs and no bacon no fruit) with a few animals to visit after and that’s it. It’s sad, this was a tradition for us but I will buy my syrup elsewhere and we won’t be going back next year.

Pro's: atmosphere was nice. Parking was pretty good. All the technological amenities. Animal Barn is great for kids.Cons:The lines were long with no real direction as to where to line up. The food was restaurant priced, but food line quality.Overall it comes down to what you make of it. We enjoyed our time.

We had a nice breakfast. This is a breakfast place and not a sugar shack, like the typical sugar shacks in Quebec. There was a ten dollar power person entrance fee and the two breakfasts cost $47.00 with tax and they charged $4.00 for a small taffee on a stick. So all in it was $71.00 for two of us to get breakfast, walk around and see some Farm animals plus a taffee each. It was a sunny nice day. Was this expensive? You be the judge...

We went during sugar bush season over March break. I was really happy to see that you pay your entry fee at the entrance to the parking lot, so there was no line for tickets. They do have a machine that accepts credit cards.Kids enjoyed visiting animals in the barn - horses, cows, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, etc. And we even got to see a few lambs.The deep-fried pancakes and mini donuts were a huge hit! My kids wouldn't eat the grilled cheese because it had some burn marks and a smokey taste - just a heads up if your kids are particular about their grilled cheese.The slagon" ride was fun for the kids. They take you through a loop in the forest and past fields of cows. Pick up is by the barn.I was glad we wore our rain boots

Very cute farm with caring staff and amazing winter trails! We truly enjoyed our experience here. Saw cute farm animals, chatted with staff and had a nice winter walk on one of the trails. I personally enjoyed that there were some bits of information scattered around the trail about maple syrup collecting and maple trees growing since it was my first visit to a maple syrup farm! Definitely recommend for some family all day fun!

Great family farm, great organic food to buy, maple and honey, egg and farm made dip, burger, lasagna, sheperd pie and all other exciting groceries to buy. Beautiful walking trail and all kind of farm animals. The horses are big and amazing! They have even library ti lend from and even hall for wedding and other ceremonies. The staff are friendly and very respetful to customers. They have several food truck with delicious farm made snacks, deep fried pancakes, traditional Canadian snacks and also sell beer and rum. Must visit with your family and enjoy!

Edit:Pretty disappointed in my most recent visit in 2023 for the maple season. The wait for the Pancake House was 1 hour 30 mins and the food was scarce for the price. You have to pay $2.50 for an extra fork and knife, and staff were dismissive and rude when we asked questions. Do not waste your time waiting in line; get the deep fried pancakes instead and enjoy the farm on your own.Original:Coming to Stanley’s during maple syrup season is a new tradition in my family, since it’s always a blast. Lots to do and see; wagon rides through the forest, an entire barn full of animals, a playground, snacks, delicious foods to eat for lunch or take home with you and more!We always love seeing the process of there maple syrup being made in the shack and chatting with whomever is working there. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. Lots of parking available. I had one of the BEST grilled cheeses there last winter and I hope they have it again this year ☺️

Stanley's made our wedding dreams come true. The venue is absolutely beautiful, our guests loved being able to visit the animals and explore the gardens. It was an incredibly warm day, but the AC in the Maples Hall was an absolute life saver. Katie, Colin, and Kathy were all diligent in ensuring we had everything we asked for, and incredibly patient with all of our questions and needs. The hall was decorated beautifully, the food was fantastic, and we all had the most amazing time. We'd recommend this venue to anyone, and will be returning every year during maple season. Not only we're Stanley's absolutely excellent to us, but it felt good knowing that we were supporting a local family and local Ottawa farms. Thank you Stanley's!

Nice place, beautiful experience, extremely friendly and nice staff and well organized.You enjoy everything available there, it’s just that there are no much things there as we expected. It’s just the barn, the shop, the maple boiling area, and maybe you can try the deep fried pancake. If the weather is ok, you can enjoy walking in the farm. But that’s it, 2 hours maximum. Overall, it’s a nice and must do activity if you are new to the region.

Wonderful family friendly farm. Lots of activities. Very well organized. We were so excited to enjoy their pancake breakfast again this year and stock up on delicious maple syrup. A yearly tradition! Stroller/wagon/sled accessible. Some activities and food cash only. Entrance fee and pancake house accept credit.
