Thank-you Halifax Mobility Scooters - we rented a scooter for one of our learners at Dartmouth Learning Network so that he could join us on a field trip. He had a BLAST!!!! We went to Shubenacadie Wildlife Park, Victoria Park in Truro and then to the Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Centre. We did have to charge the scooter at the culltural centre but only because it had so much use on the trails at Victoria Park. Our field trips are a big part of the learning experience at Dartmouth Learning Network and, because of you - we can now make that opportunity more accessible to our learners!

Nicole was extremely helpful with my quest to find a scooter that would allow me to join others for a hike on the rails to trails. She was both professional and extremely supportive. Thank you. Thank you.

Having access to a mobility scooter has forever changed my life. Due to a Spinal Cord Injury, sustained in 1992, I require a crutch for mobility. For years I have missed opportunities to participate in life and sadly by default I became a bystander. No more. Liberating is the best way to describe this absolute gift. Using the scooter, I have the independence to move freely and no longer just see things from a distance, but truly experience it. I'm grateful to my family and friends for many times they have pushed me in a wheelchair, but it doesn't equate to freedom. I believe anyone who is living with mobility challenges due to muscle weakness and/or fatigue know this truth. The mobility scooter literally changed the quality of my life beyond description. When I visit family in Halifax I can fully experience its beauty. I can scoot through Point Pleasant park, Halifax Public Gardens, visit the downtown, enjoy the waterfront, etc all with such ease. Wow...such beauty I have missed because walking, despite the desire to, was just not possible. I can go for an evening walk with my sister and her little dog Koda. Simple joys now made possible. The scooter gave me back the unmeasurable gift of spontaneity. I no longer have to 'assess' the situation, watch every step, and be consciously aware that the distance I can walk is always based on a 'round' trip model. The heat, the cold, the humidity, and the wind were often defining factors of decisions. The mobility scooter removed every one of these barriers. They are gone!! Scooters work great

I broke my ankle this winter and had to use a scooter at two separate times during my recovery. Halifax Mobility Scooter Rentals were responsive and accommodating. Their equipment was well maintained and user-friendly. I can't recommend them enough!

I had a fantastic experience , from the time I made first contact , to when I returned the scooter . I decided to contact Nicole after I convinced my father to TRY a scooter for a family event . She responded to my email promptly , answered all my questions , and offered encouragement . Pick up and drop off was easy , with simple and clear instructions .My family had a great day and the increased mobility for my father was a huge factor in this.I will be a repeat customer .

My husband had ankle surgery and needed an ankle scooter for two weeks. I googled rentals in my area and Nicole was only 5 minutes away. I called and she had one to rent. The rental agreement, payment and receipt where all done through email. The next day she was waiting for me with it, showed me how to use it and put it in my trunk. The entire process was super easy with the payment and all the paperwork done on line. Nicole was very friendly and knowledgeable.
