Camp Summit
120 Rockridge students came to Camp Summit in the 1st week of May. Our students had a fabulous time engaging in the activities and games. The camp director- Emily guided our big group through the schedule with passion and great energy. We loved archery, high ropes, biking, outdoor living skills, art in nature, team building and the camp-wide games. The weather was poor (not something we can control), but the students kept their heads up. They loved the food - we all ate very well. They learned to live in a shared space - with shared cabins and washrooms. We will continue to remind our students to prepare for the outdoor weather and cabin sleeping as well as the patience needed to live in a community for 3 days.

Camp Summit
I’ve been a summer camper since I was 7 years old, and I recently returned as a student leader for my school trip. The games were amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I felt like it was very educational for everyone involved. I’ve made my best friends here, and Ill continue to return to my favourite place in the world! I hope that everyone can experience the magic of camp summit!

Camp Summit
I am at the point to register my daughter to this camp for a week (Summer 2023). With all the nonsense that is going on I asked a question if there she is going to be in a cabin with GIRLS (I mean G_I_R_L_S!!!!!! for the god sake)I received the answer:Campers are registered and organized in cabins based on their registered program

Camp Summit
I have attended camp summit numerous times with students from Rockridge Secondary School. The camp is setup to provide campers with a variety of unique outdoor experiences which separates them from the digital world they spend the majority of their time in. The staff are always friendly, supportive and receptive to feedback. They also work incredibly hard to meet the specific needs of each student. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Camp Summit
Exceptionally clean, organized, and authentic. The enthusiasm and joy are almost tangible. Sent a kid to camp, received a youth at the end of a week. Best part? All the amazing stories heard all the way back home. Not one bad story. Unreal.

Parky and the team (Yeah Cheese and JoJo!!) run a first rate camp. Our daughter has been going for a few years now and loves it. Congrats on the vibe, keep it up!

Camp Summit
I’ve been a summer camper at Summit for 5 years, including completing two years of a leadership program, and I can wholeheartedly say that Camp Summit is my favourite place in the world. Everything about it from the staff, activities, food, is incredible. I’ve made lifelong friends here and had such incredible experiences, like hiking the Juan de Fuca trail with an amazing group of people, that I would never have done if it wasn’t with camp. I cannot recommend Camp Summit more.

Camp Summit
I recently had the pleasure of attending Camp Summit, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by the vibrant energy that filled the air. The campgrounds were meticulously maintained, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. However, what truly set Camp Summit apart was the exceptional leadership and boundless enthusiasm of Emily Kalil.Emily Kalil, the camp director, is a true force of nature. Her passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a positive environment is unparalleled. It was evident that she genuinely cared about each and every camper and was dedicated to creating a memorable and impactful experience for them. Emily's enthusiasm was contagious, and it spread throughout the entire camp, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. One aspect of Camp Summit that stood out to me was the way the games were designed to build the kids. Emily's leadership skills truly shone through in the various activities and challenges that were organized. The games were not just about having fun, but they were also skillfully designed to promote teamwork, problem-solving, and personal growth. The campers were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new challenges, fostering a sense of resilience and self-confidence.

Camp Summit
I typically do not write reviews but felt that the recent experience at Camp Summit with my daughter’s Girl Guide group deserved recognition. We were lucky enough to spend a full day and a half at Summit. The grounds and activity structures/equipment were beautiful maintained, clean and organized. The group went mountain biking, which we were not expecting that! So exciting for all of them. The food was good, healthy, home cooked style, no processed food was served. Most important aspect to note was the amazing director Emily and her wonderful leaders. They were polite, engaging and most importantly they worked so hard to teach the Guides about team work, respect and manners for the environment and each other all while having fun. Well done and thank you!

I am girl guide who recently went to camp there with my whole girl guys district. I personally had a great time I enjoyed talking to the staff and the food was good. I saw a bat in my cabin the first night but found that too be really funny. The Director Emily was so nice. Thank you for a great weekend
