Maybe he is a good mechanic and maybe he is a nice person. But he has no idea how to work on the bmw. Changed oil filter housing and a belt on the e92 328xi when those parts been replaced 6 months ago. Didn’t even washed the engine block first to look where is the leak actually coming from. Took me 2 mins to check the car after his job and see the problem is valve cover (it’s cracked) common issue on n52 and it’s leaking from the eccentric shaft seal as well. Running poor on cold start (another reason for cracked cover) After few days of driving the car low oil level light came on and I had to clean everything after him to see the actual leak and top up the oil. Good job dude. There is a reason why he is charging less. Think next time before going to him.
