The Dance Edge

Very professional and straightforward. The Dance Edge made my 3.5 year-old's first summer camp experience priceless. We signed up for another week and cannot wait. Miss Stephanie and her team are exceptional.

I enrolled my 2 year old daughter into The Dance Edge Mini Movers & Tiny Tumblers this past year. I had zero experience with dance and I have to say I was blown away by how great Stephanie and her team were with both the kids and the parents. Toddlers aren't easy to get focused and I was so impressed with the way she made all the kids including mine feel comfortable, confident and helped them have fun.

Highly qualified staff, beautiful facility, and all around great environment! The studio is filled with passion and dedication. The owner is very professional, friendly, and great with kids of all ages. Her faculty is just as great. I attended their End of Year Recital last June and was very impressed with the quality training that was presented throughout all ages. It was great to see how much fun all the littles were having as well! As a fellow professional in the dance industry, I would confidently recommend this studio to families with dancers of any age, and at any level.

Our two year old daughter attended the Mini Movers class and didn’t want to return. The first class of the year started out with a lot of chaos and no instructions/guidance or greetings to the parents or children. The room was filled with a lot of tears and screaming of children attending the class! The staff seemed to have higher then “toddler” expectations of the children that were attending. The children were required to follow and stick to instructions given to them along with a lot of uninstructed time which required the children to sit and wait while their peers took turns doing individual exercises. The class wasn’t fun and the staff themselves did not seem to enjoy leading and “teaching” the children. The class size was large and the amount of staff to support the toddlers wasn’t a good ratio therefore allowing the staff in the room to feel overwhelmed and unable to provide to the children needs.After a tragic family accident our daughter was no longer able to attend classes, so I had attempted to reach out the studio but didn’t hear back until over a week later. I was informed that I wasn’t able to receive a refund of my original first payment along with no flexibility or compassion for us during this vulnerable time. I wouldn’t recommend this studio to anyone!

I cannot express enough how pleased I am the The Dance Edge. My daughter started here when she was 18 months and she’s never looked back. She is now five and each year her newly acquired skills make me so proud.Ms Stephanie and team keep up the phenomenal job.I must add - I don’t usually leave reviews nor do I read them, however, to the person (Joshua) that wrote the derogatory comment it appears you may must have been at a completely different studio. Stephanie’s classes are never huge, crying and chaos in the waiting room is non existent and I can tell you with absolute certainty if you reached out to Stephanie she gets back to you immediately. My condolences for your family emergency but transferring your pain to the studio is uncalled for.So again, I say thank you for taking my girl under your wing and I APPRECIATE everything you do.~ Denise

My experience with The Dance Edge has been great. I highly recommend them for dance, recreationally and competitively. Also their Summer camps are fantastic!

Unfortunately I found the owner to be unprofessional and rude. We had 2 exchanges that kind of rubbed me the wrong way… after the 2nd one I felt so uncomfortable I made the decision to pull my daughter from the studio even though the teachers were awesome. We have now completed a full year with a different studio and I am SO happy with them! The owner is AMAZING and the communication is wonderful. One more thing to note is I had a very difficult time registering my daughter to begin with as they seem to have difficulty answering their emails… I have a friend who also tried multiple times emailing and calling the dance edge to register her child with no luck so a better system is obviously needed. Giving 2 stars instead of none because the teachers were fantastic and my daughter did love dancing there.

Miss Stephanie has been my daughters Dance Teacher for the past 3 years starting from the age of 2. I enrolled my daughter into the Mini Movers/Tiny Tumblers class where I saw her excel so much. She gained confidence, learned social skills and made so many new friends. She has danced there for the past 2 summers participating in 3 different summer camps both seasons which she absolutly LOVED as well has the Summer evening program where she could try different types of dance she had never taken to see if she enjoyed them. She is now 4.5 years old and has started her 3rd year and she is BEYOND excited! Stephanie and her team are very knowledgeable, patient and great with the children. They take the time to really show their students how much they care about each and everyone one of them, My daughter comes home proud and excitedly practicing her moves. She looks up to miss Stephanie and the entire staff so much. I look forward to watching my little one grow into a confident dancer.
