Came here for the first time and I was overall impressed with the ambiance and vibe. A nice fancy place for dinner! However, customer service could have been better. I wanted red wine and our server said “I got it” when I got my bill the 9oz glass of wine was $40. It wouldve been nice if i was informed, it would’ve been better if i just bought a whole bottle. Our server also seemedlike he was rushing to finish his shift and so my friends and I felt rushed to pay and leave.But Overall great food!

I expected more excitement of flavors for the price I paid for. But they were okay, not really special. Wine selection is impressive.Service was great. Our host was friendly and very passionate of their food and drink menus.

Went for a date night (December 20, 2022) and it became our favorite place. We had George as a server and he made the whole experience so much better. He was very friendly and was amazing at recommendations on the menu. Was able to answer any questions with no hesitation.The steak was cooked to perfection for both of us. Enjoyed every bite of everything we had. The chefs did a fantastic job on everything.Will definitely back and recommend this restaurant to everyone.Huge thanks to George and all the other staff that made the experience a perfect date night!

We dined as a group of six and had an excellent time. I started with the Burnt Cherry Manhattan which comes with a nice presentation under a smoky cover. It had a delicious, deep, smoky and savory taste. For appetizers, we started with the bone marrow, Mac and cheese bites, calamari, and onion rings. They were all good but the bone marrow was amazing. I’ve had it several times and it can be smooth and buttery and scoop out of the bone easily or be a challenge and too dry. This was some of the best that I’ve had and nice chunks of bone marrow scooped out. I only wish that it was more than one bone! For dinner, I ordered the ribeye. It’s was tender and fatty just the way I like it. I ordered the brussels as a side and they were amazing! The vinaigrette sauce that is on the brussels was one of the best that I’ve had. I always order brussels if they are available at a restaurant. There was also an offer of half-priced bottles of wine so we ordered two of Justin’s Cab Sav and it was an excellent pairing with my ribeye and his steak and frites. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend it if you are downtown Calgary.

Went in for a birthday dinner . Initially the server we had was horrible and was mainly not interested in serving us that is my only complaint. Then the manager “Kayley “ came over to bring us a food item and totally changed my experience. We moved then from inside to outside patio and Duncan served us wow ! Amazing server , attentive and honest . I left my phone at the restaurant and rest assured he put it inside and it was returned to me the following day . Thank you Duncan for your honesty. My favourite part of the whole meal was the fried Mac and cheese and the carrot cake was out of this world .

The Guild is one of my all-time favorites in the city. The desserts are top-notch and creative. The steaks aged and cook to perfection. The salads are always fresh and well-seasoned. The ambience is so relaxing. Servers are so knowledgeable and attentive. This place is always in my go-to list.

This place is so great, my husband and I came here with a gift card and spent a little over, but had a really great feast. The seafood risotto might be one of my new favorite meals, and the dessert we got, the raspberry Neapolitan brownie was incredible. Overall, a little expensive, but it makes a great date. The ambiance and design of the restaurant is so stunning too. Our only complaint would be that some of the food was quite salty, specifically the steak my husband had.

It was a great place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good. The service was excellent. We really like the atmosphere here.

Enjoyed a meal out with a group of friends at The Guild. We started on the happy hour menu trying almost every food item to start with - I especially enjoyed the crispy duck wings and braised beef tacos. We followed with a number of mains and finished with dessert. The group did a family style dinner so I was able to try all the dishes and everything was delicious. On top of this, the service was terrific - the server was attentive and skilled in her craft. I had orders to be put in at specific times - she followed through with all instructions and did it all without writing a thing down. Very impressive. A great evening out.

We went randomly to this place, and it was perfect, calm atmosphere, music, our waitress was always on time, we really enjoyed this relaxed atmosphere and food. We had seafood - calamari, mussles and cheese. All fantastic. We had a bottle of red wine which our eaitress also recommended to the choice of our selection from menu. I would recommend this place, if you eant to enjoy your dinner and have a chat and just to be spoiled.
