This was my first ever wax and I was so nervous! The tech made me feel so comfortable and laid back and took her time. I am still amazed at how little discomfort I felt and these results! I will be recommending all my friends and family to this place!

The staff here are all great at what they do! The vagicians are all great, personable, and use sanitary techniques. The desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is clean and new and in a convenient area of University District to get to and park at.

Im so glad I stumbled onto this place. I made an appointment for a brow and leg wax and so glad I did. The tech made me feel so comfortable and explained everything. Ive been waxed before so was anticipating some pain, but honestly didn't feel any, even on my brows. Thats not usually the case since Im such a baby and cant tolerate pain well. Such a great experience and great service too, I will be coming back and referring al my friends and family.

Normally would keep my waxing needs incognito, however this was an easy trip to get my unibrow taken care of. Easy to book, plenty of time, painless and timely. Although just splitting my eyebrows into two, the techs are very knowledgeable and take care of your skin. Waxing should always hurt but the tech was so good it hurt far less than I was expecting.

Love this new location of Foxy Box! Victoria was sweet and relaxed. It's a friendly and inclusive space. Their online booking is super easy, lots of options, and detailed packages. There's free underground parking too so it's easy to access.

I had a great experience! I’m always scared to get waxed and put my trust into the hands of a stranger, because there’s always the chance that it goes wrong. But Victoria made me feel confident in the procedure. She did the nape of my neck perfectly! I’ll definitely be coming back. Location is great and Victoria and the other staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like Victoria was super supportive because she knew that getting my neck waxed was going to be super painful. She acknowledged how it might be feeling and told me I was doing a good job, which honesty made a huge difference for me! I hate my neck baby hairs and this is a great solution for me. Make sure you use the first service free discount! It’s a great way to get a feel of their studio without making a huge commitment.

Taheera, the owner, and her staff/vagician Gen, are incredible humans. Each invites you into the space with respect, humour, and an eagerness to serve. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to check out this new-ish wax bar while visiting Calgary. If your in need for some self-care and a good laugh, you won't go wrong with visiting Genelyn at Foxy Box, University District!
