Top tier care for your pet. The people who work here are absolute angels. They've been working hard to keep my Bucky going, and I could not be more thankful for what they've done. Their willingness to go the extra mile for each animal is obvious. That's just how they do things.

I'm always impressed with the entire team. The client care specialists are kind and helpful; I've called probably a dozen times over the past couple years with questions which they don't hesitate helping with. I have full confidence in Dr. Taylor, Dr. Fuller, and the other vets. Nellie says thank you for keeping me healthy!

This morning I write this review through tears after having to say goodbye to our 13yo doberman today.Although it is a sad day I wanted to share this review as a thank you to the amazing team at B.V for the care, kindness and compassion they showed today, and every other day I have brought my pets to them.We switched to B.V around 4 years ago and I am so thankful that we did. Over the 4 years we have been to the clinic for both routine, and emergency visits with dogs, cats, rabbits and rats and they have remained consistent in their compassion and love of each and every animal we have brought to them.Prior to today, I have had to experience saying goodbye to 4 of my rats at the clinic over multiple visits, each of which I was offered the same comforts.Their care room, used mainly for saying goodbye, has a couch, treats, fireplace, and dim lighting. It is a private, comfortable room which allows you the time and space to say goodbye privately. After each pet my family recieved a hand written card of condolence in the mail within a week signed by the team. It may seem like little things, but together they help make a devastating experience a bit more comfortable.And although it is not the main focus of this review, another important aspect for so many people, myself included, is that I have always felt that the pricing was fair compared to other clinics we have visited. I never felt pressured into expensive tests or treatments, the team always offered alternative options and suggestions in a way that didnt leave me feeling pressured and unecessary.Thank you to the entire team at Burnside Vet clinic for treating every animal and their families with the same compassion and care. You can truley see and feel the love the team has for animals from the moment you walk through the door.

The staff here are phenomenal. They are everything you would want from a team helping care for a loved family member. When my kitty Celeste was sick, and I was tight on funds, they went above and beyond to make sure we were both cared for. The compassion and understanding we received brought tears to my eyes many times. Their gentle and comforting process for euthanasia was so appreciated. I'll never take my animals anywhere else.

Always a pleasure to visit the happy and friendly staff of Burnside Veterinary Hospital and the excellent care of our 4 dogs who love to be there and are so calm there.

Have brought my three dogs here since moving to area in 2013. Am retired physician. My impression is that they could help (some) human medical practices learn pragmatic lessons in care and communication. Have seen there several vets, technicians and front office staff, all of whom demonstrate kindness and provide confidence inspiring care, and I appreciate the post op followup communication and access. The staff were very kind and empathetic when I needed to euthanize my 15 year old dog. Costs are fair, and I don’t begrudge paying for high quality care. It ain’t easy being a vet.

We've been using this vet clinic for years for our dog and senior cat. Every time we go we are so happy with the staff, prices and care they put into the clinic. We had our 5 year old pit-bull mix there most of the day today trying to solve a medical mystery and they were amazing. Extremely caring and went the extra mile to make sure going home that she was comfortable and that the issue had been solved. I recommend them to friends and family constantly and they genuinely can't be matched on not only prices but quality of care. If they see this, thank you so much!!

Have been using this vet for over a yr. I have to say my vet hopping is over. I have one main vet I see for check ups. But have now had 2 emergency appointments and they got us in right away. They where even able to put my guy under qnd stitch him up all within 2hr of calling.The staff is always friendly even when u can tell stressed.Always willing to work that little extra to help the new pup love them as much as the older girls do!

Our cat Faye has received treatment from the Burnside Veterinary Hospital staff for over 2 years now, they have been instrumental with giving Faye an incredible amount of care and attention over two episodes of illness that threatened her life.Our dearest appreciation goes out to Dr. Miriam, Dr. Emma, and Dr. Thompson for their empathetic, informed, and responsive approach to handling Faye (and us)! Additionally we'd like to thank all the staff for their hard work in facilitating her treatment. All our furry friends are in good hands here :)

Had a medical emergency, traveled from New Glasgow to see a vet.Outstanding job taking care of our 15 year old chihuahua, Dr. McCarron was very attentive and provided great services. The bill was expected to be much more than what we were presented.Great staff, level of care and value all rolled into one.
