Q Nails - Magrath

I was just at the salon today to get my nails done and I had a horrible experience. Before the lady took me in to do my nails there was another customer who asked to do her eyebrows and the lady told her to leave the salon and call to make a booking when she clearly said that walk ins were allowed, she was very rude and personally was not pleased with the way she was talking to her customers knowing that I was next, second of all when she did my nailsThey turned out absolutely horrific, each nail was a different shape and length and she didn’t bother to fully finish one of my nails. She was extremely rude and overall my nails have never looked worse. When I got home I was so utterly upset that I decided to talk to the franchises where they told me they couldn’t do anything about my experience or the staff working there I am extremely upset and do not recommend visiting them.

I went in asking for a manicure and pedicure. I get my nails done every 2/3 weeks . It was not busy at all when I went in . One other person was there . We stared with my pedicure.I need my nails shorter, other wise it bothers me in my golf shoes. I asked to cut my nails shot….. today is day 3 and I need to cut my own nails . I think all that was done was she rubbed some lotion on and paint my nails . Then we started on my hands . At one point when she was on the phone or at cash for the 6th time I took the nail file and tried to fix what I could before polish. This is when they got busy. The lady working on my nails , filed them down so much they where burning . ( this is why I am not going back and complaining . I am scared ) . Her daughter had come to visit and painted her daughters nails. I think this is when she asked for help. After filing my nails down ……. And doing nothing more . She got her daughter to come over . She said don’t worry she owned a salon and new what she was doing . I leaned she owned a business 20 years ago… she then painted my nails….. when I think I was done , she asked . Do you want some lotion ? I was like sure…All I could think was get me out of here . I came home and had to clean up the mess. It looks like a 4 year old painted my nails . My husband was like go back. I said no, the drilled so much I don’t have any nails left .This cost me just 100 bucks…. Don’t come here . If you think you can do your own nails.. it’s better then this place . Other wise , go somewhere else,I work in customer service, I get it . Busy happens . This not okay .

My friend and I got pedicures from this salon and I can say it was one of the best pedicures I've ever had! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent as it included amenities which other salons normally wouldn't especially for the price (nail clip/file, cuticle removal, foot scrubber/callus removal, exfoliant/salt scrub, a longer massage, shellac polish, cuticle oil). Both of our nail techs were thorough and the service didn't feel rushed. Our toes look fab and it was a lovely experience - we will be going back!

Went in for a gel nail repair on one nail- I really wanted to love this place because it’s in my neighborhood- in the same strip mall as my grocery store. It seemed dirty- just not super tidy or clean. The man who did the repair barely spoke English enough to understand me. His hands felt dirty and sweaty. TheNail file looked filthy and when I asked if it was cleaned between services, he mumbled a very unconvincing “yeah”. I would NOT return. Worried I might have a fungus or something on my nail now.

I’ve come here very last minute a few times. Ty has done my nails. He is amazing, I recommend coming here if you want to be impressed by your nails and your nail tech. I came back to get a broken nail fixed V fixed my nail. She was very patient and precise. Another woman, Annie helped v make sure we chose the same colors as my other nails. Very kind and patient people. Thank you Q nails Magrath!

Horrible experience, went there at 2:30 pm 8 October i got my nails done and the pedicure. I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY PEDICURE. The man who was doing my nails was really harsh and rough on my fingers, the way he was using the electric tools was hurting my skin and causing pain!! And now i am feeling pain all of my fingers. Pathetic service not professional at all. Please stay away from this nail studio. I will never visit this nail studio. The Qnails located in Windermere is way more professional

I've never had such a poorly done manicure or pedicure. After I left I had a closer look at my nails, they were filed unevenly. Figured right this off, maybe a bad day. 3 days later my first nail broke, these are acrylics that normally would last at least a month if not longer. 3 days after that another one broke, then another one - in total 5 of my nails broke. I have a busy schedule so it was 10 days before I could get back. Was told that they don't last any longer than 2 weeks? After pushing to get them repaired she didn't rebuild with acrylic, she just cut them off, put new polish on, that's it. It's now been 3 days and 2 of the nails have broken again! Don't waste your time or money going here. It's supposedly under new management but think they need not only some customer service training but also more training on how to properly do nails, and sanitary procedures. I will never go back.

The guy doing my hands was so rough and impatient. The entire thing felt very rushed. A new set with coloured tips (what i got) is $60 and I was charged $78. Not to mention, he kept commenting on my hands and cuticles. I bite my cuticles as it’s an anxiety response for me. He said MULTIPLE times how it was “gross” and “bad for me” and just kept pointing it out saying “it’s so bad”. After the manicure he began cutting the skin around my fingers that I’d been picking at. It was hurting so I said “you don’t have to do that.” and he laughed and said “It’s so bad. I’ll cut it” and when I told him no (again) he was like “it’s very bad”. He also (condescendingly) asked me if i’ll “continue to bite my nails” after I leave. I left the place feeling horrible about myself.
