Pepper Lunch
We ordered two dishes, one of which was served way earlier than the other. And then out of the blue a rice bowl with corn kernels on top was served, which we didn't know it comes with my dish because they served our foods separately. I guess a set menu should be served together and foods ordered by one table should be served at the same time too. My scallop pasta had no veggies at all, which cost me as much as 28 bucks.

Not bad, I was afraid my pork wouldnt fully cook properly but it did. The flavors were okay for the pasta dishes but I enjoyed the beef curry the most. The service was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and informative. The prices were decent.

Great place for lunch. The food is sizzling and tasty. We really miss the Vancouver location so much we came to Richmond to taste it again!

We had Pepper Lunch all the time in Japan when living there and miss eating it! When I saw one was in Vancouver I was so excited! The food tasted exactly like I remember! It was delicious!! My daughter unfortunately did burn her hand a little when mixing her rice. I asked for ice and told them she touched the skillet on accident. They brought her an ice pack wrapped in a towel and some ointment for the burn. They were amazing! We went back the next day for lunch! We will definitely return here when visiting Canada.

Great lunch spot, it's quick and delicious. The service was very good and everyone was super friendly. I tried the Wagyu Beef bowl, great flavors and really good quality. Took be back to my time in Japan. Highly recommend for those that haven't been. The trick is to mix everything up. That way you get a nice sear on everything.

Was craving for Beef, so come for a dinner I order wagyu beef, only come with May be 5 slices of beef in my meal. Add vegetables on the side ( I paid extra for that) but the forget to serve the vegetables with my meal. Later they serve microwave vegetables, for $30 plus dinners I got microwave vegetables. The quality of the food is differently go down. Won’t be back again… not worth $30. Is better go to the next door to the Japanese restaurant at lease they have a good quality food. I was left hungry…

Delicious plate. Got the wagyu it was a little thin didn't notice the meat quality. Gotta flip them and stir quick not to overcook but overall good tastes and good experience

Delicious food. The meat is tender and rice is nice and fluffy. I love the sauce you can add to the pan. The service is friendly and fast to get our meal (we went at a quiet time so I’m not sure how it’s like at their peak hours)The price is a little higher than other Asian restaurants but reasonable for the food I would say.

I dined here because it was listed on the Richmond Dumpling Trail. But they don't serve dumplings!Seems like a place for a nice quick lunch- service was fast. But it wasn't very interesting. Just various types of hot pot. And the poutine had shredded cheese, not curds!

Simple, fast, delicious. You order before taking a seat, and the dish comes out piping hot on a searing hot plate. Anything you add on will be included and all you have to do is mix it a little and wait for the dish to fully cook before digging in. Not only is the taste wonderful, but the service is speedy and relatively cheap. Oh and fountain drinks are refillable too.
