Magic Stitch & Dry Cleaning

I have been using Magic Stitch for years! The seamstress is friendly and willing to try many different sewing requests! She does a fantastic job and is prompt with completing your item! Reasonably priced .....A very nice and talented lady

First time I've been to this place. It came recommended to me by a friend. I brought in a winter overcoat (I had found online) but the sleeves were too short for my extra long monkey arms. She was polite and said she knew what to do. After a week, I came back.. and was amazed! She did indeed do magic. I had the extra length in the arms I needed and you couldn't tell they had been adjusted/altered! I was amazed! The workmanship was pristine. I was so happy, it was able to allow me to wear this brand new coat I had purchased..

They cut my wedding dress and won’t fess up to it! Not impressed with this! They are lying, my dress is not used, I bought it brand new. You don’t take responsibility for any of your mistakes! You notice when people complain you make up excuses. Good thing people will know the truth!

We recently left with them 11 dress shirts to be cleaned and pressed. When we went back to pick them up one of them was totally wrecked. The sleeves were burnt by the press and they had white stripes where the material was burnt.They said that it just needed more cleaning so we agreed to leave it there for them to try again.When we went back it was the same as we had left it.The lady that was there became upset when we told her that that was not the condition the shirt was brought in and then she went on telling us how 4 out of 10 garments brought in for drycleaning are wrecked and that's normal! She even took it a step further and accused us of bringing in a wrecked shirt and that we knew it was damaged from the beginning, all of that while she was talking down to us like we were stupid and yelling at us! The nerve to turn around and blame us for her poor customer service!We ended up leaving without the shirt and then she had the drycleaner call us because they don't do the drycleaning themselves, they contract it out!It's been 3 weeks and they still haven' t done anything about it!Magic Stitch contracts the drycleaning to Transcanada Drycleaners. Between the 2 of them they cannot seem to decide whose fault it is. Their customer service is beyond disappointing.We requested either a new shirt or the value of the shirt since they cannot do anything to fix it. None of the 2 have shown any interest to help us or provide the so called great customer service" that you see all over their website.They have no customer service skills whatsoever! We were planning on taking in all of our dress shirts to have them drycleaned every week. They have just lost our business. A $60 shirt just cost them their reputation and extra possible business.People like that should not be in the customer service business! This is not how you treat paying customers that put food on your table.We just finished putting in a complaint with the BBB. Magic Sticth seems to ignore us hoping we would just sulk it up and take the damaged shirt and don't say a word about it but the bottom line is that it's not so much the shirt that made us mad but the way we were treated and talked to. It's funny how they went from being all smiles when they take the money to being rude and offensive when they do not deliver what they promise."

Magic stitching indeed! Thé woman did amazing zipper ré-do for me last winter for a vert affordable price! Thé winter jacket is thick and multi layers and she did an immaculate sewing job.Just went Thérè again and got 4 jeans repaired and she did great transitions in jean patch work, fixéd à button, and hemed Silvers beatifully and matched thé thread well.Thank you for ur talented work. I will always go to you and recommend you

I had two jackets dry cleaned, and both came back to me in the same condition I brought them in as. Both still dirty, full of hair, inside the jackets were neglected, ect. I had my partner call them to have them redone and we couldn't go in due to being quarantined. When we were cleared he brought them in and they refused to clean them even though they were still in their plastic protectors. Would not recommend this place since they don't have a sense of understanding nor do they seem to care about their quality of work.*Edit: After reading the response from the business owners, they clearly don't charge you for a perfect job so don't expect perfection. Hair inside the jackets are not the responsibility of the owners who are paying for your services. Was there evidence that I wore the two jackets? Absolutely not. You did not look over them nor listened to reason regarding the pandemic and quarantine. I called and left numerous voice mails to let you know but you both chose to ignore them. The jackets have remained and still remain in the plastic wrap*

My shirts were cleaned, pressed, and ready in good time. I was accidentally charged a little more than the stated price but, it was rectified once I notified them. Over all, a good experience - clothes turned out excellent.
