NS Power has a government endorsed monopoly and it shows. This might be the worst company on the planet. Our government and NS Power are crooks.

would have given a 0 rating if that was an option. My appartment has heat included and somehow my bill went from $70 to $170 in winters. I have no dishwasher, no tv, no gaming console and just used electricity to work on my computer and somehow the electricity to run my computer has risen for them to more than double. The company is just enjoying monopoly over electricity which is why it is always surcharging. Talked with customer care agents multiple times but they do not offer any help. When trying by e-mail about this issue, nova scotia power did not reply to the e-mails for months and have still not replied. While calling them the agents do not help investigate if there was any mistake by chance. With thar going without any regulation, this company can scam people by charging them unrealistic bills every month without any consequences. They would even limit the feedback form to 200 words and would not let you submit more than 2. So, you cannot complaint about the awful service.

Had power go out during on Fri the events of Hurricane Fiona. Took me a really long time to get ahold of anyone working there, and when I got ahold of someone, assured me power would be back Sun. The power never came on and service was terrible. Unfortunate they're the only ones in Halifax

Bills are full of inconsistencies and seemingly false charges. Non matching fees can not be explained nor justified by the I'll equipped customer service reps. The MyAccount Insights is lame lip service where they hide b.s. fees. A terrible company to deal with in every regard.

Disgusting monopoly company with absolutely terrible service, horrific prices, and even worse scheduling! To say this company" is poorly run

Just the absolute worst. The people who run this company are crooks who steal from hard working Canadians. I wish them nothing but the worst in life.

They didn't show up even you paid them $700. No problem. It's their way or no way. You can beg them for Mercy and hope they respect you just a little bit. Thanks God.

Damaged my property, harassed my family members & blocked our driveway & entrance without our permission when the house they were working on HAS 2 DRIVEWAYS.Nothing is being done

If I could give them a negative rating I would. I paid my in full and I received a bill 2 weeks later later for 322.68. Bunch of crooks!!!!

Took 62 days to have power hooked up, been told multiple dates and when you call to advise they didn’t do it they cant tell you why or when they will “try” to do it again. Since they are a monopoly they can do what they want without loosing clients. Took a complaint to the utilities board to get somewhere.
