Our dog Milo was here today for his second set of shots- and it was our first experience here as his owners. We cannot say enough great things about the level of care and kindness we received. Reception was super kind when we arrived- given COVID measures, I called and stayed in the parking lot on arrival and met someone at the door to take him in. Dr Clarke called me not long after and was extremely thorough in his overall assessment of Milo, asked about his diet, socialization, and took the time to ensure if I had any questions, he could address them. He went through in detail about the various shots and efficacy of each, suggested if and when some shots may be appropriate. We have another follow up in a few weeks and I already feel like we’re in the best of hands. Milo came out a very happy puppy despite getting a couple shots today!

Went in today with my car Mazikeen for a check up and some medication. The staff were super friendly and the student vet was awesome! Rob Clark the vet was very friendly and thorough. He was super gentle and informative. I’m so blessed to have this vet clinic and honestly wish I could give even more than 5 stars!

Best services, quality care, staff is terrific Daisy was treated so well. Perfect surgery, surgeon was so kind and explained everything in detail and all and all they are all awesome at Almonte Vet. Here is a picture of Daisy recovering extremely well!!!

We went with this Vet clinic a couple of years ago when we moved to the area because of good Google reviews. We came from an amazing clinic in Prescott with fantastic customer service and friendly, helpful doctors.We have never been happy with Almonte Animal hospital. The doctors seem to be only concerned with how much money to extract from you and the front desk personnel are never friendly and welcoming.The last straw came today when we took our cat back after 2 weeks of treatment that did not work and the vet suggested continuing. When I asked the vet about other possible ailments, the vet came back with false information and would not do a simple test to eliminate that as a possible concern. Instead the vet suggested expensive tests and proceeded to ask my CAT what she thought was wrong. I suggested that perhaps I would get a second opinion as I did not feel confident with her knowledge of the problem. After the 10 min of wasted time in the exam room, the friendly staff at the front desk wanted to charge me $74.Needless to say, we will be moving our business and animal care elsewhere.

Doctor Clarke and all of the vet techs and staff took such great care of my dog before, during and after her TPLO surgery. They're very thorough and easily answer any questions or concerns you've had. I know I made the right choice going with this clinic and I'd highly recommend it for your pet too.Update: my dog is walking, running & jumping like she used to. We do leg massages daily, give her supplements for arthritis, and make sure she doesn't go too hard, but her mobility is back! WORTH THE MONEY.

Our old gals health declined very quickly and we made that hard decision. They squeezed us in between appointments.Dr Yu (I think) was extrosinary. She was supportive of our decision and also thanked us for making the decision. She was so kind, thorough and thoughtful. She gave us as much time as we needed with our darling gal.We've uaed this vet derive for the past 10 yrs and have had nothing but excellent experiences.

Very nice staff. Would have liked an update earlier in the day, but when we did go to pick up Comet, they were very informative and even let me look at her x-rays! Thanks to Dr Clark and everyone involved in Comet's surgery.

Our beautiful girl was treated for a knee injury and required surgery. The staff was amazing and so helpful each and every time we visited. Best Vets around. Wish they could take on new patients, would definitely recommend and would love to be one of their full time patients.

Almonte vet gave us great care when we had our adopted puppy spayed, and we got to keep them as a vet afterwards, which we are so thankful for. We have had an unfortunate few weeks with our pets and Almonte vet got our puppy in the same day we called for stitches when she cut herself, and then again a few days later got us a visit the same day with their large animal vet when our mini pig was sick. Everyone is so nice and competent, and we are super thankful that they are able to get us appointments quickly when needed. Vets who know about mini pigs aren’t super common, so we are so fortunate she was able to help us. Absolutely would recommend them!

Can’t say enough good things about this vet office, honestly. They care about the animal and its well being, not profit, and have proven it repeatedly. When we first moved to the area, we lost our geriatric cat’s meds during the move & this vet asked us to provide records from previous vet & then gave her a refill. No visit with the added cost required. We just had to take her in within a couple months for check up.Our dog had a very serious back injury, the vet called after their office closed to check on her, called ahead to the emerg to ensure she was taken in right away and then called us twice in the days after to check on her-no charge.When our older cat had to be put down, a vet came to our house and treated her such dignity and gently dealt with it, packed up quickly and left our family to cry our faces off after saying we’ll worry about payment arrangements later. Let us know when you’re ready (cost was very reasonable).The vet advised not to give some unnecessary vaccines to both cat and dog that I was previously told they needed.The staff takes time to talk through things and even lets me pay ahead for anymeds my husband picks up so he doesn’t have to deal with it.The best vet office we’ve ever dealt with and we’re military, move often and now drive almost an hour to still take our pets here!
