Balchen & Kulchycki Surveys

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BEWARE THEY DO JOBS BEFORE THEY ARE AUTHORIZED OR BEFORE A PERON OWNS THE PROPERTY, BEWARE!!!!My step father passed in 1991 and I had been paying the taxes all these years. A few years ago I wanted to have the property surveyed and enquired with a surveyor Balchen and Kulchycki located in Dauphin.They asked for a copy of the title to show property was in my name and so I started the process to change the property in my name. Unfortunately before I was able to get the process started Balchen and Kulchycki took it upon themselves to go and survey the property without the title showing I was the owner OR without a phone call saying they were going to survey the property. They surveyed the property and sent me a bill demanding payment.Due to me not being a biological child I wasn’t able to complete the title transfer BUT I did mail a cheque along with a letter stating they had no right surveying the property when I didn’t even own the property at the time. I did not include in the cheque I mailed the interest this company has been charging. I had told this company I am waiting to transfer the property into my name and I did not know how long this would take as the family had to get the estate finalized and this would take as long as it would take.Due to Covid everything was taking longer than normal and the woman I spoke to at their office agreed to not charge any more interest. So now this company is not cashing my payment I sent without the interest and say they do not accept the bill is paid in full.My opinion this company is a total scam doing work when they were not authorized at the time.They go against what they say and like i told the woman I spoke to that day about the interest to stop being charged as they did not have authorization to do the job and with covid the courts were taking longer, they have too many cooks in the kitchen then helps, they all tell people different things and this is not very professional on their part.This company has been VERY hard to deal with and are harassing and VERY unprofessional.I would NEVER recommend them to do work for anyone!!!
