Dollar Tree

Should rename the store Twonee Tree with the rapid increases from $1 to 1.25 and now $1.50 (as the lowest price for basic store brand items), w/no change in quality and less variety than before. Overall not bad...local Dollarama installed a couple SCOTs (self-checkout terminals), kept prices level, and it reduced wait time in line drastically. While I am leery of AI & computer tech replacing many human jobs without plans to improve quality of life, just to increase the gap between wealthy & the poor/working poor, I do often patronize these machines, which still require human oversight but increased convenience and reduced forced social interaction with cashiers and can get in/out faster as well as use my pocket change at the ones that accept cash. Grab and go. As for Dollar Tree, they're OK, have cheap t-shirts and a couple unique items, this store is grungy compared to surrounding area & attracts some sketchy characters, leading to profiling of anyone who looks 'different', and I've been followed aggressively by employees for no reason, so...YMMV. 3.5 stars if that was an option....- MM

We mistakenly got in this shop expecting another franchise store with similar green color logo. Soon as we got in, the were no have sanitizer provide. The products in there were fairly low quality even in dollar store standard. We saw many products were broken new in box, like the whole stack of photo frames with cracks without exception! The worst part is, none of the items have a price tag on, therefore we didn't buy anything there at the end as we don't feel comfortable to be surprised at the check out. We most likely won't go back there again

Just left there and have to commend Mohamed on how he operated the store. Was attentive to customers while training a brand new employee (first shift) and still recognized when people needed assistance and would have a cashier on till before a large line up could form. Respect his customer service and level of multi tasking. He had all kinds of obligations and various personalities within that store and he did a wonderful job adhering to it all while being professional AND getting product on the floor.

Many products at low prices, friendly and very helpful staff to guide you, hopefully one day they will install a bike rack.

I have been coming to this Location many times. They have a great variety of crafts and greeting cards. So much selection.The staff is very friendly and helpful, this review, Zack person is writing is no good. Sorry my broken Russian English. Worker has served me many times, always good to me. Smiles waves at me everytime. This nice person, even said they bring me groceries, my son in hospice center.People complain and complain, workers here are very good.

Good parking, good products with reasonable prices. Most Valentine items are $1.25 now. Very good deal! However, the casher was sort of slow... and it took time for checking out...

An extensive number of products. Most of the time I am able to find what I want. Some hidden gems that don't last long when they are in store.

Nice store, lot of items. All items are in $1.5. All racks are full of stuff. Many items are at reasonable price, some items are costly and some items are quality is not good. But considering the price very reasonable store.

I came by for some party supplies and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a great selection for balloons, but I was disappointed that they didn't have more selection for table covers. They only had white and a green round cover this time, maybe they were low on supplies? I do love the balloon bouquet and overall I'm happy with my experience. The cashier was very sweet even with the long line up that was starting up, great customer service!

I go to this location frequently and have rarely had a bad interaction with any staff here. I know what prices to expect as there is plenty of signage . Any problems with low stock during the last two years can be attributed the pandemic and supply chain issues such as floods or being dumped off a ship that was also on fire later. Stuff happens beyond their control. All retail store and grocery stores will have the same problems with goods that need to be imported into the country from overseas. Which is the majority of products in a dollarstore. As far as staffing issues they have not taken down their hiring sign for many months so one can assume that they don't have enough staff at all. Pretty much all retail and food and hospitality establishments are low on staff. I see it every time I go out anywhere. This would affect quick store cleanups of the mess that gets left behind by customers and quick stockouts. So when shopping here please keep this in mind. I don't work there I don't even know the staff personally but the negative comments I have seen of recent months are from people who don't seem to see the bigger picture. Or maybe don't care. Their job is not as easy as many seem to think. With constant abuse they put up with while trying to do their job. So please have some compassion and understanding. I don't think that is such a hard thing to do.
