Mel has been my stylist for almost 10 years now, always happy with my extensions and colour. Even after all these years, she still makes sure to ask me exactly what I want to have done, and she nails it every time. Thank you Mel!

I recently went to Melastyles for hair extensions and I have nothing but great things to say about her! She’s a very friendly compassionate person who takes the time to listen to what you are looking for and doesn’t rush through the process. She went over the various types of extensions and recommended the natural beaded weft row extensions for my hair type and I LOVE it!!From thin boring dull hair to long, thick and full of life! I could not be happier with the outcome and will keep going back for her services.I highly recommend Melastyles!

Lovely to see all the 5 star reviews here but I can’t say I was ever given the opportunity to experience her work, just her lack of professionalism and organization.I called Melanie last week to ask about her availability for my wedding date this summer. She kindly confirmed she was available for the date and we scheduled a consultation, where I thought I would have the opportunity to get to know her and pay the deposit for her services. Instead, I show up at our scheduled time to a surprised face asking who I was and why I was there. I repeated back the information we had confirmed over the phone a week ago (thinking she must have taken note of it and added me to her schedule when she offered me the 3pm appointment) and she proceeded to say she didn’t have a client at that time and hadn’t written anything down OR remembered anything about me. I proceeded to show her the call history of the 5 minute discussion we had and she continued to deny it.Instead of apologizing or taking any sort of blame for the situation, she just kept repeating “that isn’t like me to not have written it down.” She also told me that she now had two other brides interested in the same date as me so she couldn’t promise the date anymore. DESPITE her promising her availability the week before. Melanie said she would follow up by text or a phone call to let me know if she was available and she didn’t even have the audacity to reach out.I don’t think I would be as frustrated or disappointed had she of simply apologized for her actions. I think that’s pretty basic customer service and I deserved at least a bit of respect.

Melanie is a good hairdresser and takes pride in her work. I always leave happy after getting my haircut and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Melanie is awesome. She worked with my thinning hair and made me have volume and length. She used a mix of fusion and hand tied strands. She knew exactly how much hair I needed for what I wanted. She was even able to match my icy white/silver colour. Great work and wonderful experience.

I love seeing her! I got hair extensions from her and ever since, I get so much compliments and many looks from guys and girls everywhere I go. She also did my makeup for a competition and I felt amazing. It wasn’t too much that was perfect to go out after too

I have been to Melanie’s many time for my hair. Done extensions, purple ombré and much more! I have always been extremely pleased! I went yesterday to do some new highlights and haircut and the colour is gorgeous I’m so happy with my hair! I don’t change my hair often but this time I’m extra happy! It was my first-time dyeing my hair and first-time getting hair extensions, so, of course I had many questions. She addressed all of my concerns and answered my questions very thoroughly. She went over the different hair extension options and recommended the hot fusion hair extensions for my hair. Melanie is an extremely warm and considerate individual. She will take the time to learn about your needs and takes her time with the procedure to ensure high quality of the end product. The colour and extensions turned out so amazing and completely revived my once dull looking hair into the long, thick and vibrant hair that I have always wanted. I always get compliments on my hair, and no one has asked if they are extensions because they are so natural looking. I couldn’t have imagined better results!Also, she is incredibly thoughtful and informative. I mentioned that I was dealing with some breakage and hair loss with my natural hair, and she recommended a hair treatment that I could try that I had never heard of before !I will definitely be going back to Melastyles for her services !
