The Brick

Do not buy any furniture from the Brick Store. The Brick store sells junk furniture . I bought a sectional sofa for $1600 and just after using one month it has fallen apart. I bought a warranty when i purchased the furniture. The Brick store at 1267 BARTON STREET E. UNIT F01 HAMILTON,ON, L8H 2V4 is a store to avoid at any cost . Now when I put a warranty claim they are giving me middle finger. Worst customer experience at this location . The poor quality products that they sell fall a part after one month of use. Bunch of fraudster. Never again in my life i will step a foot in the Brick store , biggest mistake in my life. People be smart and buy from any other store but not from brick. Have a look at the pics that i attached if u think i am lying.

Worse customer service I’ve ever had!! If I could of given 0 stars I would have 1 is being generous. I had an issue with the delivery & failed install of my washing machine. I called & spoke to a manager Brandon who was kind & understanding. He told me the problem would be resolved by the next day .However that was not the case !!I tried calling the store several times with no answer which I see from previous reviews is common. I then called head office & they had the manager Austin call me . He informed me the other manager should NOT of told me he would fix the issue that they were not going to be doing anything to help me. He in fact placed the blame on me the customer!!! SO BUYER BEWARE!!!! Austin was rude & arrogant & should not be in management!!!! Ooh & the icing on the cake …. They left the appliance box on my front porch!!! Never have I had an appliance delivered & the box & garbage left behind! Do your self a favor…. DO NOT SHOP AT THE BRICK !Don’t be fooled by the the customer service response below…. No one ever reach out to resolve or help in any way!They really just don’t care once they have your $$$$$ .

Had the pleasure of working with Scott when purchasing a new refrigerator. Ours had broken down and he made an otherwise stressful situation stress-free. He was very kind and personable, and made the entire experience seamless. 10/10 Service

I was satisfied with the service of one of your staff member as she stepped out multiple times to recommend us your best appliances and room decorations. I believe her name is Rand. She has a very warm rapport with everyone she comes in contact with. She is very friendly and follows up with clients when they need help while getting her job done. I was impressed and will recommend this location to my friends and family.

I’m giving a low review for lack of customer service and all they’re mess ups I’ve had to deal with.Back in may I bought a couch from an associate in store and things seemed good, I paid for it and was waiting 2 days for delivery, no biggie.When the couch arrived it was the wrong facing as it’s a sectional but I didn’t know until we unwrapped the couch that they dropped, not only did they leave it like that, they broke my front door and let cardboard all over my driveway, I called back the second I realized it was wrong and they said second week of June they’ll have the right one for me, do an exchange free of charge and pick up the wrong one.. Now take in i did this may 17th so what’s 2 weeks.Second week of June I called and asked when it would be delivered they said June 24th, so more than a month since I received the wrong couch. Called them on June 24th they said it hasn’t arrived at the wear-house yet but they’ll let me know when It does and when the process will start for exchange. Got a call June 27th saying they can deliver it July 2nd between 4 pm and 7 pm. They showed up at 8 pm and Little did I know all they were doing is removing my old couch, I’m not without a couch now and the delivery guys have no idea where my couch is because all they’re doing is picking up.Let’s see what lame excuses the brick comes up with when I call and complain that my $3000 couch is still not here after almost 2 months.This is disgusting.

We are so pleased with our experience at The Brick on Barton Street, Hamilton. My elderly parents were shopping with me and the staff were so kind and thoughtful while helping us.They even kept on eye on my dad as we continued to shop. We were so grateful as they went above and beyond to help us out. My sincerest thanks to Naser, Lori and the rest of the staff.

Sales associate Rand was fantastic. Asked all the right questions to determine what I needed and moved me up to a better choice but didn't over sell. Whatever you are looking for, see Rand!Only 2 gripes had nothing to do with the sales associate. Half the doors are locked so you walk into them and it's a bit humid in the store for summertime. Maybe drop the temp a degree.

Don't buy from here if you want quality service or products. Purchased a couch that fell apart (seams splitting on cushions) under warranty. I filed the claim and they ignored it, until I posted on the BBB (which got their attention) after 2 months of waiting on my claim. They responded the next day, then it still was a fight for over 6 months until they agreed to replace because they couldn't fix it. They booked a delivery appointment and took out my old couch, but did not have the new one (which ended up still a month away from delivery) without apology and had to put the old couch back in after dragging it in the dirt. Then when they finally brought the replacement couch, they damaged my door frame when taking out the old couch without removing the removable feet. When they got stuck they forced it through. They tried to deny the damage that they did (except I have the part of the feet that they broke off when forcing it out - pictures of the piece and damage to metal trim). The delivery department noted the damage and stated a manager will contact me about the damage and, again another week later they will not return a call. So now I am required to pay to repair the damage to my home that they inflicted. My next purchase will not be here, especially seeing all the same issues from other customers with their generic response as they don't really take care of you.

Just purchased a queen size mattress set. Great deals, great customer service (Gentleman named Norm helped me pick out the right mattress for me and was very kind and helpful.) Quick shipping, came in 5 days. Only thing about delivery service, not really a big deal but would be more professional if they would have some clean runners or carpets to run through your house instead of walking around in their shoes.

Recently purchased online with the brick and in under a week my product was ready for pickup! Had a pleasant pickup experience with Nathan. He was willing to help me load my products into my vehicle. Awesome customer service at this location! Definitely coming back again!
