The gym is supposed to open at 6am, it’s 7:40am and it’s still closed with no notice. There is a line of people waiting outside of the gym. Nowhere to contact the office.

The music is SO LOUD!! I even have noises cancelling headphones and can still hear the music. Everyone has their own ear buds, it is so unnecessary!!The staff are kind, but give contradictory answers to this: “I don’t know how to turn the music.” “Sorry but we are not allowed.” Please fix this.

I'm coming from 20+ years working out in the most luxury fitness facilities in NYC, so my comments are relative to my previous experiences.I have no idea how this compares to other gyms in MTL because this is the only place I've worked out since arriving 1 year ago.Negatives: The gym smells, is often over crowded, the locker rooms suck. There doesn't really seem to be a culture of letting people work in" in machines. And it's really a bodybuilding culture

Pretty decent for the price. There are also lots of windows and a nice view from the cardio machines. The massage chairs/beds are really nice to help relieve your sore muscles after a workout.

Big gym, all the machines you want are there except a deadlift platform but it does not seems to be an issue to deadlift anywhere. Lockers are small and cheap, no hair dryers for men. Like any éconofitness, cheap fees but no possibility to invite a friend along anytime just the last Thursday of the month. The Extra here has classes with a real teacher not a TV...

UPDATE - Dec 11: music is still SO loud!!Excellent gym, great prices and very warm staff. But the music is so loud, it’s impossible to hear your own headphones which will lead to ear damage. Please, please turn down or off the music! Everyone is listening to their own music anyways.

Could definitely improve the ventilation system here because when I get off the elevator on the 6th floor, I get punched in the face with the humidity and sweaty smell. The view is very nice and staff are welcoming

In the chain one of the premier locations, opening hours are conventional and not accessible during Stat holidays generally would be my only complaint however from the 6th floor the views of the plateau looking southwest in the morning are breath taking....this is the view in Montréal, morning cardio watching an amber sunrise gazing over the steeples, crosses and building art truly makes working out a spiritual experience, a few members I have found to be rude but that comes with higher end gyms....well done team
