Berwick Heights Golf Course

Awesome view and atmosphere. Great Management. The food is so good! Love playing at this course!!!

The best kept secret in the Nova Scotia golfing community. I would have given the course a six star rating if there was six stars.I was greeted by a very polite young man named Doug, who could not do enough for my wife and I. The course was in great shape and the greens were tricky, Theresa and I are on a golf holiday and we both agreed Berwick Heights was by far the best out of the six courses so far. Doug you are a true gentleman with a great future in anything you take on.

Cut the bloody grass. I know it's rained a lot but it's been 3 days. US open rough in the fairway. A nice layout with some pretty holes but you shouldn't have to look for your ball in the fairway.

We found that play was extremely slow considering there were very few people on the course. There should be a marshal on a Saturday to ensure no delay of game . As well no food or drink cart was available. Maybe this is why there were few players on the course.

Played berwick heights today, course was in good shape staff was friendly but a few things did suck slow play, one group took 20 minutes on every hole and would not let anyone pass and the very short flag sticks, 6’ vs 8’ only course around with them little flag sticks.

We had a group of 4 booked for a tee time with 2 carts for 18 holes. When we booked every tee time pretty much was available according to the website they use. However when we showed up for our round they had no carts ready whatsoever. They managed to put us out in a pair of carts with essentially no battery charge. Luckily they replaced the carts for us at hole 5, as we had to push one of them up the hill there. However additionally unluckily to the dead carts also at hole 5 the bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towel.. given this is the busiest NS golf has ever been this is really sad to see. The manager did come out and apologize to us and for that I am thankful however because he is a nice person doesn’t change my review of this business , sad to say we won’t be back to Berwick Heights for golf. I felt bad for the kids they had working that club alone today(just 2 kids for the whole course and no cart people) , at least the manager was able to bail them out slightly. But still if you can’t accommodate the rentals, Don’t book them.

Our daughter's wedding reception was recently held at Berwick Heights Golf Course. From the initial planning stages with Annette and Joanne, to the end of the night, we couldn't have been more pleased! Developing the menu with Annette was terrific. She gave us excellent advice and was very accommodating with our requests. She was also very accessible for discussions and questions in the months leading up. The food was delicious, well presented and served efficiently. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and went well beyond what we expected. We highly recommend the venue!

Booked online 4 people and 2 carts. Total came to $180. Drove over and hour to get here. Show up early for our 1:40pm tee time to check in. Lady at the counter says their system doesn't show all the fees and it's actually $270. Then told us that there wasn't any carts ready for us to take and we'd have to wait until 2 showed up and were sanitized. Lady kept talking about how she couldn't wait for her husband to bring her wine so she could start drinking.During the time if waiting 2 other groups came in for the 1:50pm and 2:00pm tee times and both were given their carts before us. Both just handed the keys and immediately went and got their carts and left. Not sanitized, no priority listing for tee times. Just here you go.In total waited over 30 mins for our carts, only to have one of them die while trying to get up a steep hill on an early hole.When this was addressed with the staff at the counter she tried to blame us on being late as the reason that we had a cart that didn't work.Won't ever be coming back to this course.Terrible service and terrible attitude towards customers.

A fall treasure - the leaves were gorgeous, the course played challenging and we were lucky to be hosted by classic local maritime charm. (Aerated greens are part of life everywhere in October)

Beautiful clubhouse to sit on deck for a lunch and watch golfers finish…
