Was excited to have my daughter attend as the Barrie location website says they offer Supers Readers (Ages 4+). Had a nice conversation with Marc, he advised me that they don't have the ability to start anyone under the age of 6. Maybe we can try the service at 6year old.

He struggled in academic math as he had large gaps in his learning and lacked confidence in himself. When I first started searching for a tutor to help me with an aptitude test, I thought I needed a company that did one on one. The first company I went with did just this, but I soon realized it was not the right fit for me for numerous reasons. That's when I sat down with Marc at Academy of Mathematics and English, and reviewed what I wanted to accomplish. I was never a fan of math and was not looking forward to the work a head. Marc set me up with an amazing tutor, and after just the first session I felt good about doing math. She analyzed the way I was thinking and help me get to the right answers on my train of thought. The tutors were great and Marc was very accommodating in trying to help me achieve my goals. Highest recommendation!

Our daughter who was 19 years old did not get accepted to her college program due to a low result on an entrance exam. We met with Marc from the Academy for Mathematics& English in Barrie and Sherill was a little hesitant at first being slightly older than the other clients at the Academy, but what they gave our daughter was the time and dedicated support she did not generate on her own. The academy created a personalized study plan based on then she was writing the entrance exam and boy did they change Sherill's mentality for the better as she was also discouraged having not done well the first time around. And guess what???????? She was accepted to her program second time around where 60 applicants were accepted to her Vet Tech program out of 1500 applicants. I cannot say enough thanks the Academy, as they will forever be a part of Sherill's life journey and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

When my son started with the Academy, he was so behind in his reading and writing that it was a constant concern for myself, his teachers, and even his doctors.After 6 months at the Academy he was caught up. He now reads and writes with confidence and fluency. We no longer fight every night over homework, and he loves to read and write whenever he can. Thank you so much for your work with my son!

Outstanding work environment and students! Tutors and management are supportive of one another and work as a team. Marc, the Director, is one of the best employers for which I have worked. He takes great pride in offering high-quality tutoring services by providing the students with exceptional tutors and creating a welcoming learning environment. My son has a learning disability and I did not feel that I was getting my son the support he needed. This changed once I enrolled my son in the math program with the Academy for Mathematics & English. Our experience with Marc and his staff has been such a positive and rewarding one. In a short period of time I have witnessed my son develop a much stronger foundation in math principles through his customized program. Since the classes have had to continue through the online learning mode I have discovered an even greater opportunity to witness the materials covered which cannot be viewed in the traditional classroom setting. The teachers are always enthusiastic and very supportive. I only wish that we had enrolled sooner. I cannot thank Marc, Alicia, Stacie and Valerie enough.
