Niagara Falls Bus Terminal

I got here 20 minutes early to catch the last GO bus to Burlington last night. The bus left at 9:55. I go to the counter to load my Presto card and the guy said he already closed all Presto services at 9:15. I asked if I could just buy a ticket for the bus and he said that wasn’t possible because that was closed down too. He told me to pay cash and I said I had none on me. I go to use the ATM right there and of course it’s not working. I asked the guy what to do. He literally just shrugged his shoulders at me and went back to counting cash. I tried running to the nearest ATM at BMO but I didn’t make it there and back in time. There was no other options for me so I had to wait in downtown Niagara Falls for 2 hours until I could get some to pick me up and offer me a place to stay.I’ve never experienced anything like this before and I’m at this terminal going to Burlington to head home 15 times a year.

The bus station is too small and miserable. They should build a new one and they never should have torn down the half of the historic train station across the street because now the symmetry is gone. Whoever makes the decisions is a joke. The city needs to start listening to its citizens.

Washroom there is always closed due to the homeless people and staff is too lazy to keep it clean so just put a washroom closed sign and block it. So if ur traveling and have to use the washroom you are out of luck. True laziness at its best

This place is terrible. We were back here from Niagara Falls and we just faced closed doors. The services from Niagara falls work till after 9 pm but the staff at this terminal are already gone home at 5 pm. There is nobody to help passengers. No service at all. People here are mostly visitors who need to buy tickets going back to Toronto but it’s all closed and there is no way to get a ticket to be back to Toronto or other cities. So irresponsible. What if some people don’t have access to internet or smart phones to buy a ticket? There is nobody here to help or answer people’s questions. It’s just a Zombie land. I feel sorry for people who have to commute and for future tourists

It is a bit confusing where to wait for the Go bus to Burlington Go station. Nearly everyone was waiting on the street because that's where the signs are, but the actual bus stop for the #12 to Burlington Go is the street/industrial lot -behind- the bus terminal.More signage for the tourists who are heading to Burlington/tourists like us connecting to the airport or to Union Station would go a long way.

Who doesn’t take credit cards for bus tickets. Join the modern world please. Presto doesn’t work on these busses fyi

AVOID THIS BUS STOP AT ALL COSTS. There have been not one, but two occasions now where a bus was either over an hour late or did not show up at all. The first time around it took my boyfriend an extra TWENTY (20) hours to get to Ottawa from Niagara Falls. And this bus stop having such late busses is the main reason why It took so long (alternative transportation was scheduled much later in the day). I will never give greyhound my money again, because it’s not uncommon for them to be late, but the severity of the lateness at this stop in specific is not something anyone should have to put up with. The bus that was supposed to leave the bus station at 11:15am was still in Buffalo at 12 noon today, just to give you a better idea of how unreliable it is.

Huge thanks to fantastic beautiful young girl from the station's office who helped me to get to Toronto after Greyhound bus decided to miss the station, even if this wasn't her job once She realized the Greyhound won't come She found me and organized alternative way to get to Toronto, I would probably spend half a day waiting for the bus as I knew they running late.
