I've had BRAE do a few alternator rebuilds for me over the years and it has always been top notch work at a great price. This time, my old '93 Tercel was having charging issues so I took the alternator in on Friday afternoon. Monday was a holiday and they called me on Tuesday morning to say it was ready! This thing is beautiful...looks like new from the factory and the job was done for quite a bit less than it would cost to get even one of the cheap remanufactured models from a supplier.I will use Brian Roberts Auto Electric anytime I have any similar work needed and am very comfortable recommending them to anyone else.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Brian Roberts Auto Electric. I had them inspect the alternator on my 97 Camry. I felt they gave me an honest assessment of the condition and charged a reasonable amount to have the diode board replaced. Very fast and courteous people. I would highly recommend them to anyone. This is the 2nd time I have used them.

I almost NEVER write reviews but this company is worth mentioning. I have an old Toyota Land Cruiser. Part are hard to come by and these guys rebuild originals for a fraction of what it would be to buy new. The workmanship is top notch. My parts are cleaned and painted and I'm SUPER happy with the work I've had done over the years - I've had alternators, starters... you name it. This is the only name you need in Victoria. Fast, efficient, honest and fair.

Super fast and excellent quality work. I was having a hard time finding a new alternator for my 84 BMW and they were able to fully rebuild my old one and make it look like new in only one day. Great price too, would recommend to anyone.

We are visiting Victoria from Alberta and driving a 2014 Mini Countryman, which broke down on Highway 17 Thursday morning, July 28.We brought it to the Victoria Mini dealership, which diagnosed the car with a failed battery and alternator. They were able to replace the battery the same day but unfortunately a new alternator could not be sourced and we were told it would require us staying in Victoria for an extra four days over the long weekend before one would arrive. This would be impossible for us to arrange.I discovered that Brian Roberts Auto Electric in Victoria rebuilds alternators, and I called them and spoke to their amazing staff person Brad.After explaining our situation (that we cannot wait an extra five days in Victoria for an alternator to arrive) Brad said he could do an emergency rebuild on our alternator the same day Friday the 29th in order to get us on the road home Saturday!We left the alternator with them at noon and it was completed by 3 PM (for 1/5 of the cost that Mini would’ve charged us for a new alternator that would arrive four days later.)We picked up the rebuilt alternator from Brad at 3 PM and had it installed in the car by 6 PM!Brad not only saved the day for us, but saved our holiday as well. He was professional, efficient and accommodating. I’d absolutely recommend Brian Roberts Auto Electric for any of your automotive electrical needs!

The folks here know their stuff! I didn't get his name, but the fellow at the front counter knew exactly what I needed for my application and they were able to sell me the brackets I needed and make me up a custom alternator all in an afternoon. Great prices. I could not find a less expensive option online. I will be back for any electrical needs in the future.Update:Recently had an alternator rebuilt for one of my other vehicles. Once again the folks here got it done at a great price and in great time. Time will tell if they stand up, but I have no reason to believe they won't.

Amazing business and people to work with. My alternator in my BMW E90 failed completely, absolutely no power was being generated/delivered. Dropped it off, and within half a day had an estimate, few hours later repair was done. Failed parts + maintenance repairs were done to ensure peace of mind, which of course I am more than happy to eat the few dollars more for an essentially entirely new alternator for 1/4 the price. 2 year warranty is better than most new alternator warranties. Alternator was cleaned up and looked brand new. Local to Victoria, and highly recommend. Over one month in, alternator running better than ever. Will be returning in the future should I need my starter done.*Update*Almost 3 years later alternator still works great
