Roma Furniture - Furniture & Mattress Store in Coquitlam

We bought a sofa with chase made about a month ago from the Coquitlam location. It was made in custom color with custom legs. The quality is great for the price. We researched other companies for 2 months but no company can beat the quality and price of Roma Furniture.We were given no updates on the status or the delivery date so had to call multiple times which was a big hassle on top of our busy schedule. When the sofa first arrived, it had the wrong type and color of legs. Two cushions were missing but it was fixed by TJ in 2 days. It would be great if customer service was good as well.I would highly recommend this place for quality furniture at affordable price.

Sales person Azam was very flexible with our situation. We ended up not being able to move until a later date and realized that we made a mistake buying too big of a table for our living area.Azam was very easy going and helped us by stopping the shipment we had coming and holding off until we got settled in. He would also make calls regularly to the warehouse to see if they could customize items for us (ie chairs with chrome legs instead of gold legs)

We purchased a sectional from this location. After reading reviews I was terrified something will go wrong. Here's the good:- Azam gave us a great price.- Azam was very patient with my 5 yo twins acting like tornadoes in their store, really appreciated that, made the purchasing experience so much less stressful.- they delivered on the date that was promised. I called the day before and asked if they could deliver within the time frame that worked for me and they did. Very happy with that.- the delivery guys were very nice and polite. They didn't damage any walls or anything. They were fast too.The bad:- we wanted the cushions to be changed, as the floor model had really hard foam. The delivered product is exactly the floor model with same cushions, which hurts my back sitting too long on it. Azam said they won't charge extra for changed cushions, because that's the price he already promised. I wish they charged us for the changed cushions and actually changed them so I could actually enjoy sitting on the new couch. For that reason I took one star off the rating, otherwise everything else was great.

Roma Furniture offers a variety of nice design and affordable furniture. However, their customer service is horrible. I purchased a sofa bed from them which was missing a mattress, cover, holder and even what we ordered at the store was slightly different from what we got. Moreover, the bed was not straight and you couldn't sleep on it. It took 3 months and their technicians came to my house 8 times to fix the reported problems after soooooooo many calls. The business owners don't seem responsive and overall, Roma doesn't seem a customer-oriented business

Zero stars, these people are scammers, whatever you do never give them cash! They delivered & assembled our bedroom suite & then told us they didn't have the 5 drawer chest or the large mirror for the triple dresser, were not sure when they would be available. They left & I started inspecting the furniture & it all looked like it had been in a showroom for decades, scratched, scuffed, poor attempts at touch-ups in numerous areas, some of which looked like someone had used a magic marker on it! I phoned them next day & their answer was that it was all brand new in box when delivered so I told them that was unacceptable, thankfully I had paid them $3300 on my MasterCard so I stopped payment on it & finally Roma replaced the entire suite 3 months later, which I made them unbox on my front lawn before even allowing them in my house, & they were doing touch-ups as they were unboxing! If I had paid cash you can bet I would have been stuck with the junk that they first delivered. I have since read very similar horror stories in other reviews of this business, lots of furniture stores out there, I would highly recommend a different one! I do not recommend shopping at Roma furniture. They do not have accurate delivery times by upwards of 2 months. Also, the coffee table i purchased came with noticable scratches on its surface. If you do purchase from them, I recommend using a credit card and keep track of how long it's taking. Luckily, I was able to get a refund as my side table never came in, it came in the wrong colour, but I had to go to the surrey location because they couldn't do it at the coquitlam location. They also wanted me to call the warehouse directly for a status update on my order. I thought this was strange and unprofessional as l believe it is their job to contact their warehouse to get me a status update, as I ordered through the store, not their warehouse.

good place to look for furniture. the place has lots of furniture near together so you can just sit and check if they feel the same of not, except for the beds on the ground floor. i liked that they are offering custom made hard wood beds as well. the beds upstairs are the ones that are a bit more simple. best to looks around this place because they have colourful furnitures as well if you want to be different and add some colour and funk into your space. the staff were helpful and they also respected when we just wanted to internalize our findings on the furniture we were hunting down.

I don't like to write bad reviews, but I feel responsible to warn others that this company (owners and managers) are scammers. We ordered a couch and a mattress from them. They denied the fact that they sent us the floor model mattress, but when we said we have proof (pictures), they admitted it happened by mistake". They guaranteed that the couch we ordered would arrive by a specific date

Azam is great, we custom made our couch and waited for few weeks finally got here, fits perfect, super comfy, 5 star to you Azam and Roma! Will buy again!

Have twice ordered new furniture from Roma in Coquitlam. Very helpful service from Azam in store. Delivery was on time and professional. Delivery guys did all the set-up and took away the packaging, which was greatly appreciated. Very satisfied with the entire purchasing experience.
