The Gentle Way Divorce

Kim is an amazing person to deal with such a sensitive event in life. Within moments of meeting her you are put at ease. She has a welcoming vibe that makes talking about personal topics much more comfortable. Anybody that is struggling to find an unconventional way to deal with separation Kim Korven is a blessing.

Kim did not return my phone calls, or answer my questions, or listen to me at all. She negotiated solely based on communications from my abusive spouse and never even spoke to me a single time without him present. She clearly does not recognize an abusive relationship and I most definitely not recommend her if you are in one. She was also extremely difficult to deal with once I did hire a real lawyer.

Although I have never been through divorce I quite often find myself leaning on Kim when I face conflict in my life. Kim is very attentive, calm and very knowledgeable when it comes to solving conflict peacefully!

Kim was an excellent resource to get answers to my questions, regarding the care of my adult son with autism and what the future might hold. Not even knowing exactly what I was asking for, we covered topics such as wills, power of attorney and guardianship. Kim took the time to explain information simply and completely and never made me feel inferior. Her compassion shines through and her knowledge is obvious.

My appreciation for Kim continues to grow as I learn, whether through a 90 minute personal consultation or a free webinar on the 5 tools for a Covid Conversation. She guides my awareness to get to the Core, as to what is the cost if I damage this relationship, or what is the most important outcome in my situation. I can only work on ME to get the results I want. Thanks Kim!

I cannot say enough good things about Kim. She truly has been absolutely amazing. Her kindness, understanding, acceptance, knowledge, and approach were integral to helping us finalize our separation agreement. Her ability to lead us through communicating, help us through the tough decisions, and hard conversations really made the whole process so much easier than where we were before meeting with her. My only regret is not meeting with her sooner and earlier in our separation journey.I feel one of the most important assets Kim was able to give, we’re the tools and guidance to be able to communicate in a healthier, more productive manner. Kim is a very knowledgeable and compassionate and caring person. I have learnt a lot about the effects of separation, how to establish boundaries and about the resources available for a person going through separation. Divorce is not something anyone wants to go through in their lives. It's not enjoyable and can often be very negative and damaging. Kim helped myself and my ex spouse to fulfill our hopes of separating from each other with respect and dignity.
