Groove Cat Books & Records
This store reminds me of the many little bookstores in San Francisco when I visited that city over 12 years ago. A bit of a Haight-Ashbury vibe, a great selection of books, and friendly staff: a laid-back paradise for readers. Even the rescue cat is super friendly. A wonderful place to browse, but just try getting out of there without at least a couple of titles. The vinyl selection looked interesting too. What a great addition to the neighbourhood!

We spontaneously walked into this bookstore and were pleasantly surprised by the nice selection of books and calm atmosphere. I bought a nice book im excited to read and enjoyed meeting Luna the cat. I would definitley like to check this place out again!

Such a lovely little place. The owners were friendly, the selection of books was great and we got to meet the sweetest little cat as a bonus! Will definitely be back :)

What a warm and inviting book and record shop, loaded with oddities and popular favourites. Huge welcome to the neighbourhood! The owners couldn't be more pleasant. Make sure to say hello to the shop cat and soak in the comfort of great tunes and terrific books.

Off street free parking in New West is rare. Made for a comfortable shopping experience. Didn't find the book I was looking for, but didn't feel rushed. Staff was friendly and helpful.
