Owners are very nice. We stopped late in the evening, they didn’t have availability. While the gentleman tried searching for nearby motels for us, we asked about camping sites. They offered us a site on their property, free of charge. Don’t miss the gorgeous sunset. Made our night!

We went later in the summer season when most other similar lodgings have closed down for the season. Our cabin 13 (#superstitious!) was renovated, clean, very well heated, had a rustic feel, and an incomparable view of the river. No spirits or ghosts detected. Beds are springy, may not suit everyone but we were fine. Warning: bring your own water, tap water isn't meant for drinking.The owner/hostess was very courteous with us, chit chatted, gave us some tips for local hot spots. Definitely a pleasant experience, would reccomend a stay.

Wonderful stay here while on a cycle trip. Secure bike storage, as well as quaint cabins that reminded me of great childhood vacations. Very beautiful setting and so much history here. Best of all, the owners went above and beyond to make our stay special. Joel is a wealth of information. I highly recommend a stay here, and plan to come back.

I loved the views and felt like this is a beautiful location. The property is very special. I have no idea why the owner has any negative reviews because I felt he was extremely friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to visit again.

Worst experience ever. They treat you like nobodies. PLS DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. the moment you arrive on sight, they will send you back to where you came from. Extremely dishonest people. DO NOT TRUST THEM

Warm reception, friendly people, full range of TV channels and a lovely walk down to the meadow, endless rose bushes and St. Lawrence River. Great place.
