We waited a half hour to get our food and there was only 4 or 5 tables to serve. After the food was delivered we never heard from the waitress again. We sat with no water and no napkins. For the high price, the food was mediocre. We ordered a Caesar wrap with fries. It was more like a half of a wrap with a kids portion of fries. There was supposed to be bacon in the wrap. I couldn’t see it or taste it so I pulled it apart to see. There was barely a small amount of tiny little crumbs. The beers were like approx $10 each. The table next to us was complaining too. I felt ripped off and mad. I didn’t tip the waitress. For what, she didn’t even make sure our basic needs were satisfied. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I would stay away from this place. I will never return.

Staff were very friendly. We were allowed to eat with our dog on the patio which was great. Fish and chips were really good. They were really sweet to my son and my dog, I can't say much more.

This place has some serious mismanagement going on. When we first sat down, we had to go in and order our own drinks because no one came. The server was running around frantically and wouldn’t take our food orders so we flagged down another server (they had decided to train someone new on a Saturday evening). We ended up waiting 2 hours without receiving our food, until we eventually just left. They had closed the kitchen to newcomers while we were still there because it was so backed up, but literally nobody was getting any food and other people were leaving as well. It was a normal dinner rush, nothing crazy. But I will say, the older female server was super honest and chill and made sure we had drinks.

Visit this restaurant after taking the submarine tour. The food was what I would have expected at a Denny's. If you are anyway disabled, there is no washroom available on the main floor and you must go down a large flight of stairs to the washrooms. When I visited, the lights in the Men's washroom were not working. Only after finishing did I find that the light switch sensor was not turned on, so the lights did not go on when you enter. Would I repeat, probably not.

Great restaurant to visit! We went on Canada day and it was very busy as expected, but the staff handled the rush amazingly. The food was delicious and prompt, and it was a great experience overall . Nothing but good things from Izzy's if you're in the area!

Ok so I have a few things to say about this food experience. 1st the food was very good, I would definitely eat here again. However the dining experience was awful due to swarming hornet on the patio. Litterally hornets/bees swarmed absolutely everyone eating outside beggining to end. Not just a couple we are talking hundreds. Not the servers or cooks fault. The owner needs to address this issue because no one seated outside was happy. Worst of all the servers had to deal with that and unhappy clients. Please don't do that to your clients. Put up a net on your patio, or shut the patio down if its that bad. Don't allow clients to deal with swarming hornets/bees. Again wonderful servers, great food. Awful dining experience. To anyone wanting to eat here during mid to late summer. Please Dine inside or order to pick up. Do not dine on the patio I repeat DO NOT dine on the patio if you have bee/hornets allergies.

Four of us visted on the Canada Day for lunch. It was busy day but like many other comments,the kitchen was unreasonably slow. Our server was a friendly nice lady and it seems all the servers were doing their best, but the kitchen could not catch up with. We left after appatizers and kids' burger as we didn't want to wait 45 min. for our mains. Nothing special about burgers. But the white wine garlic mussels were nice.

1 star because zero was not an option. Ordered chicken sandwich and a pound of wings. Chicken sandwich was bland...in hindsight, should have put my napkin on it to add flavour. The wings were very well done on the outside, but raw on the inside. Only good thing about the wings was they had a generous serving of feathers. They were also burnt. Will not go back. Impossible to go anywhere actually. Haven't left the bathroom in 24 hours.

I ordered for fries to go and 5 minutes later I got them. Quite happily I took them and drove away. Omg they were soggy and old. It was obvious the kitchen threw old fries into the fryer and dished them out to me. At least that’s how I saw them. I even put ketchup to see if I could revive them but alas no. I called Izzy’s and was told to bring them back. Way too late I was already disgusted. They shouldn’t even be dishing out such food, if you can call it food. We’ve supported this establishment even though the pandemic and what a mess they have turned into.

I love this restaurant! I went yesterday (Mon. July 10 ) around 4.30 pm. It was a sunny and hot day , so I chose the patio seating. There were 2 other tables , with patrons seated. I didn't wait for more than about 5 minutes , for the young server to acknowledge me after serving the others. I got my drinks and food in a timely fashion and was very satisfied . As I was eating , the patio filled up quickly and more staff came out bringing orders to the tables . An older lady ( maybe the owner) also came out to look after the busy patio. I felt that they handled the quick increase in patrons in a timely and friendly way. I tipped 20% and congratulated them for the great service. I will definitely be back.
