Stopped in on a whim with my 8 year old son. Happened to be during the customer appreciation and 8th anniversary week. We were immediately welcomed and treated like Kings! They made me a cappuccino and my son a hot chocolate and began pampering us. My son has never experienced such wonderful and friendly service and he was quite excited about the treatment he received. I’m a 44 year old balding guy and they worked their magic and did an outstanding job with the little they had to work with, and my sons hair looked fantastic. He was very happy with his haircut.I would highly recommend calling and making an appointment as soon as you can, it’s worth a 2 hour drive to have William or one of his very talented staff work on your hair and make you even more beautiful!Wonderful people, beautiful and classy atmosphere and fantastic treatment.Go ahead and call them,Do it!Call now!You’ll be happier than ever with your William Tissert hair treatment!

I went to see Alyssa as I had a bad cut a few days prior and I needed it fixed. She did an excellent job! She listens and has great cutting skills. My daughter also came and got a simple cut and her hair curled. She was extremely happy with it!The salon is very welcoming, clean and professional. You can tell that the owner takes pride in his salon and ensures that clients are having a good experience. It is the best service I have had in Durham at a salon by far!My whole family goes there now and will continue. Highly recommended!

Most amazing place. William SAVED my hair after a disastrous experience with a salon up the street. Not only is he super skilled at his craft but he takes the time to explain what he's doing, why he's cutting a certain way and the result is incredible. He has created an incredible business and I look forward to being a long-serving customer of his for years!

This is an amazing place. I have been going to this salon for a long time and would not go anywhere else ever. I struggled finding a place where I felt 100% comfortable. William is my stylist and he is simply the BEST. The staff omg so friendly. I can not say enough. 100% recommend this salon. Everytime I go I have an incredible experience. William has shown me to see hair in a different way....I love it. Can't way for my appointment in March. Stay safe and see you soon.

William Tissert was highly recommended to me. I had a great experience for getting highlights done. But much more than that, I felt very pampered. I will be going back soon to get my haircut. Marisol is wonderful. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. And extremely knowledgeable. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. They really care about your hair health, and take pride in their work!

William Tissert Salon & Spa is the best place I’ve gone to for my hair needs! Everyone is very organized and attentive to detail, and the salon is absolutely beautiful and always clean. William and Alyssa have coloured, cut, and styled my hair on numerous occasions, and I’ve always left loving my hair. They provide the best colour and have given me the best advice for rocking curly hair. Thanks so much!❤️

William and Alyssa honestly really know what they’re doing. I’ve had so many horror hair stylists and I lost all hope. Until I was referred to them!! They take the time to study your hair, and they recommend everything and everything to help with your hair needs. I really wanted to go a honey blonde and Alyssa MADE it happen. She knows what she’s doing and she meets my needs. If I could give a thousand stars I would! Thanks guys!

This salon saved my hair! Not kidding. My hair over the years (through life’s ups and downs) had gotten very thin and was not healthy. William and his team has now saved my hair. I’ve been coming here for awhile now and think back of all the other salons I’ve tried, I was getting desperate. Nobody was listening. William new what he had to do and gathered his team together and as he said “ it’s going to be a process”. William listened to what I had to say. Let’s follow the process and see what happens. My hair now is growing again and is healthy after following the process! Believe in this salon and what it can do for your hair! Very happy with this salon. Wendy

THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL! Seriously, I went in in despair as I had tried dying my hair copper red (from dark brown) at home and ended in disaster. William and the his knowledgeable team took me in without judgement and with tremendous willingness to help. I had to stay for almost five hours as the rescue mission for my hair was long and intense, but the results were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I thought I was doomed and then these guys and gals came to me rescue! It’s the friendliest and most knowledgeable team, the salon is impeccably clean and gorgeous. I had an amazing espresso and great conversation while these supernatural geniuses worked on my hair. Also worth mentioning, they use state of the best of the best products that are super healthy and good for your hair. My hair went through quite a trauma and yet there’s no noticeable damage. I’m telling you, it’s MAGIC! I wouldn’t want to let anybody else touch my hair now.. Do yourself a favour and go see William and the team!

The hairstylist owner wasn’t the one working on my hair but was directing the stylist working on my hair, yet somehow they both managed to completely ruin my hair colour. I was overcharged for a simple application that I could’ve done for a lot less at home but decided to pamper myself at this salon given that it got almost 5 stars I thought hey..why not, the owner is rude and isn’t concerned with the clients hair and was only worried about pocketing money. I felt uncomfortable and had a weird vibe from this place….VERY PUSHY and definitely they don’t shy away from shaming you for not having salon perfect hair, Disgusting and unprofessional. I don’t recommend this awful place at all, do not pay top dollars to get hair shamed by this over priced cheap salon. I felt bullied into silence.. do yourself a favour and don’t bother but if you ever go you’ll get what I mean. The owner is a bully so never again for me. STAY AWAY.
