I dropped in for lunch today and what a treat! They offer a good variety on the menu but not too much as to overwhelm. They do what they do well. I have the beef brisket sandwich and the two piece fried chicken. Both were very tasty. My friend had the brisket and the burger. Everything was flavor country. The facility is modest and clean. Staff were very welcoming. I was hanging in the window and taking pictures. They didn't mind. I think I'll always stop here when passing by. Will try the other items as I come back.

What a find! Excellent brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, fried chicken, homemade fries and sides - you gotta wait for your order, if you lived local would enjoy eating outdoors - lots of comfortable seating.Very good food - reasonable too!

The food is amazing here the southern fried chicken is a must try and the fries are awesome .I have also tried the burgers as well and they are awesome .

Love this place! Just north of the 401 off hwy 45 in Cobourg. Portions are great! Food is amazing. No dine in experience- either take out or picnic tables / outdoor dining is the option. My go to is their burger and fries or onion rings, depending on what I feel like. They definately have many different bbq food choices if not feeling like a burger.

FYI-Drivers of pick up trucks or other vehicles BEWARE. the poles at end of drive way with metal pieces sticking out will gouge your truck down to the metal and they wont do anything about it . The poles are not painted. You can't see them. If there are 2-3 staff vehicles in the drive way, especially large ones not parked all the way up. Than yes, you have to make a sharper turn and It will gouge your truck. The poles are right on the driveway not on the inside of the curb. We hear we are not the first one's to have this happen too. and probably not the last to have damage to the vehicle. Even if not turning to avoid another vehicle you can still end up with a mess like the food, the food was cold after explaining to the manager what had happened. Waited for a call from the Owner and never recieved till after this posting.

Great food for all ages. Friendly and organized staff. Ordered takeout: popcorn chicken and fries for my 2.5 year old (he loved it) and shared a 2 Piece Fried Chicken meal and a Hamburger w/ Cheese with the Wife. On our 2nd visit I tried the brisket sandwich. It was delicious and melts in your mouth. Would recommend calling/texting ahead your order with a pickup time as it gets pretty busy in the summer.

visit: july 2 sunday 3pmstaff/service 5 stars, this a must-mention.. food, a different story. i had the brisket sandwich and the gf had the pulled pork sandwhich. for sides, i had poutine and the girlfriend had onion rings. the sides are better than other places, like poutine had a good balance of cheese, gravy and fries.. the onion rings didn't break unlike most fastfood places that serve them -they tasted like onion rings! as for the sandwhiches, the brisket's a 3.5 to be honest. i don't have the heart to give it a 3, so 4 stars on that. the pulled pork, well, i have a friend who manages restaurants, the pulled pork is just like any other place, unfortunately. those who've ordered the rib sandwhich at SC know this.. it's the same sauce, ive tried 3 or 4 other restaurants that have the same sauce.. i wanted to try the chicken but they didnt have any cause the breading wasn't ready or something.. perhaps a later visit I'd end up liking the food more, like ribs, chicken, etc.. $41 for 2. depending on the time you arrive and food you get and volume, serving food can take anywhere from 8 minutes to 25 mins.. portioning is filling enough.. ample parking, very close to 401 highway, outdoor dining only though. would try them again

We order by text in advance. This helps you hold your order in advance, just in case they run out of a certain item. But you still have to wait a bit before you get your order, however it's definitely quicker than ordering there and waiting.The Brisket sandwich was hands down my favourite item. Apparently, you can order the brisket itself (just meat), not on the menu.If you're trying to decide between the ribs or brisket, order the brisket.Poutine was great, good gravy. Peameal Bacon is good, but also kinda salty after.Cornbread was okay. Coleslaw is a bit more watery than what I'm normally used to.If I ever happen to drive by this town again, I would definitely go back for the brisket!!

First time here today, had chicken, ribs, fries and cornbread. Fries were still hot after a 1/2 hr drive home and were amazing. The ribs were cooked perfectly, had incredible flavour, and didn't last at our house. Everything was great and we'll make this one of our stops when we're travelling through the Cobour area.
