Such a lovely gem in the town of Erin. I was on a road trip and happened to stop by.Vintage feeling. So delicious scones, salads, tea. Cool staff. Takes me to the Victorian era lol.

Our #AfternoonTea in Erin Ontario at Maddie Hatter was delightful! Our tea for 3 guests was nicely presented at a fair price point ($29.50 ea). There were some unique savoury items such as a mini mac & cheese and mini shepherd’s pie. The scone, our “best bite”, was very tasty served with butter (yes!), clotted cream and jam. The orange parfait was unique too! Erin is a cute little town with a few gift shops, and lucky to have this tea room and café. #ontariotearooms

The kids played hooky and we went for Tea for moms 40th. This place was reminiscent of her time in England. All the food was incredible. A great date/bday lunch.

Everything you'd want for afternoon tea is right here. High quality tea, delicious savory and sweet food, and theme-appropriate decor. Had a lovely time spending the afternoon with friends over tea and delicious food. Interior is quiant and small, keeping noise volume low.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea for my moms birthday last Sunday. Great variety in the tea options. Tea started with four different sandwiches with great portions including an egg salad croissant which was our favourite along with the mini Shepard’s pie. Scone wasn’t quite like you’re typical scone but it was very tasty especially with the lemon curd! Finished with four mini desserts - fudgey brownie and trifle very tasty. Cafe is very quaint inside, decorated with tea cups that I believe people have donated (saw a lady doing just that).

Scones are good but the place is not very clean, has a slight “old house” smell and needs a thorough dusting. There’s potential there but time to get with the times and revamp the place. A shame because not many places to sit and eat on the Erin strip.

Maddie Hatter is like a trip back to England. Lunch was wonderful and dessert. so many delicious teas to choose from. Wait staff wonderful. Be kind many eateries have limited servers. High tea would be great but advance reservation for high tea especially required. I can't wait to return. Midweek afforded us a lovely leisurely lunch!! Enjoyed every minute!!

My 3rd visit to Maddie Hatter, my friend and I travel from Brampton every year, as we love everything about this Tea House. The food is very tasty and the staff are very friendly. Nice place to de-stress. Thank you for another relaxing experience today. I'm sure we'll come again.
