Canad Inns Destination Centre Transcona

My son and I have mini vacations at hotels within the city. This was our first time going to the transcona location and we were pleasantly surprised!! We spend most of our time at the pool, and immediately I noticed how clean the pool the area was. In comparison to the Windsor park location this is a huge win for me! Old band aids and empty cans stashed in fake plants just grosses me out.Although before 9am I woke up to cleaning staff knocking on doors to clean rooms .. and my key card expiring before check out time when we were getting in our last swim before we had to leave... Everything else was fantastic!!We definitely will be return customers!

Pool was good. But.. that's about itThen reached out and asked for more detail but left no contact info either then a name via generic copy and paste reply.Service was sub par.Pool was fun but we had to clean up the food left behind before swimming.Room was nice but was not as clean as I would expect and smelled a bit off.As far as business travel, decent spotAs far as family goes. Take it for what it's worth I guess.

Made an appointment there for our group only to find out we had an hr to eat. Food took long to come out. Food was awful. Charged to much foe a little bit of barbuque sauce and for a little mayo. Won't go back. There was 11 of us.

Went for breakfast special during the week with my Dad after he finished his cancer treatments. Food was served hot, coffee was hot , price was fantastic. Established fully accessible from parking out front , to front entrance , to restaurant and washrooms.

The service here has been fantastic and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. (Kudos to housekeeping for their hard work) We normally stay on the 3rd floor. The kids love the pool and water slide.

Not the most attractive end of town but that's not a big deal! We got the 2 bedroom suite and it was ideal for a family holiday, and pretty good value too. Clean and comfy, just a little stuffy in the one bedroom that didn't have the a/c unit in. Friendly helpful staff.The main attraction was the pool which was exactly what the kids wanted out of our trip. Hot tub was lovely, the waterslide was a lot of fun and everything was clean and safe looking. If you stay here, take advantage of the hotel's location and go for breakfast at Ben and Florentines down the road and avoid the awful Aaltos buffet.

I find this chain less enthusiastic about your stay. It's somewhat comfortable, but noise can be the main issue. It's a good family hotel in my opinion. Has a restaurant and kid friendly activities. For business travel, I would prefer a quieter place to stay.

I've an important question for you.Please answer me so i can clear my confusion.Actually Marriott Grand Alton Hotel HR send me the job offer latter, as per their statement they are willing to purchase Canad Inn property till April's.After that it'll be holded by Marriotts & it's under process.Now please tell me is that true as i hear from them?

Went to Altos for bunch with the family after church. Buffett was huge with lots of items to choose from though the set up for the waffle station needs improvement doesn’t make sense for the staff to cook a waffle then bring it to the person’s table to only have them come back up to put condiments on.
