Trowbridge Falls

It’s free and there are a lot of trails for great hiking. There’s also a camping ground inside. The trails are littered with trash and dog poop, I’m guessing here in Canada, you don’t need to pick up your dog’s poop.From the parking lot, we walk through the grass, passed the playground, then the bridge... it wasn’t a far walk. At both ends of the bridge, you would see a set of stairs to go down the river, and you could walk up stream to see the cascading little falls. Be careful that you don’t slip and fall, the stones are covered with algae that it makes them slippery and the water was still cold in June.We didn’t go to trail since it was just disgusting to start with. I’m still rating it 5 stars since I got what I came for anyway, the falls.

Very close to Thunder Bay, nice trails, awesome place to visit and connect with nature.

Family favorite every year. Sadly went from 5*-4* because we NEED to be able to buy wood and ice at night please and thank you

Trowbridge Falls is a mind blowing location for people who are interested in camping, biking, hiking and such adventures. This place is a meeting point of many biking trails like Peekaboo, The Stranger, etc. Also, the Trowbridge falls in summer is perfect spot for swimming, and even surfing.

This is an awesome place to explore and to camp out, plenty of offgrid spots upstream too for those who can't afford the on-site campground.

Great place to start all your outdoor activities. BMX runs, mountain bike trails, many short and long hiking trails along the river and space to picnic. Everytime we go it's something different.

One of the most beauful waterfalls in thunder bay. Hiking down ito the fall is not so difficult. Beuatiful trails for walking and mountainbiking. You can get to the Shuniah mountain biking trails from here and there is a dirt jump line near to the parking lot at the park as well.

Outstanding that we have such an amazing camping park right here in Thunder Bay!!!

Trowbridge falls which is a small waterfall is situated near the Trowbridge municipal camping area.There is a very lonely forest pathway along the river.People use to do cycling and jogging in this area.Very calm, quite and lonely area.Try to go in group.It is very easy to get urself lost in the woods.There is a path in the woods to walk to the Centennial trail park.During falls the water current will be high. Dont try to get into water.

Great place to play with a family (walk, water, bike)...just wish the washrooms were open at the parking lot.
