Very cozy and traditional hotel. Staff members very friendly and polite, Room was clean, but the bathroom needed renovations. The views from the room were spectacular. They have interior pool and a game room with lots of various games.

Terrible experience. The people is not prepared to notify you about any inconveniences in the hotel. The rooms are smelly and old fashioned. The noise was awful. The restaurant service took 1 hour to give you a glass of water. Not recommended.

Terrible! They don't know how to treat people. We where 3people in the room, and we got only two towels, and they where wet/used!!!The smoke alarm went on, on a false alarm and nobody came to turn it of or to check. The breakfast and the Service for that was good.

TL;dr: they ended up overcharging us by almost $160 and wouldn't issue a full refund for their mistake. The view is unforgettable but, unfortunately, Hotel Cap-aux-Pierres is not a place we will be staying at again.Check-in: The check in was fairly smooth --they only had one key for our room, which was fine. We booked online via their website to take advantage of their Explore Charlevoix deal, which gave us 1 night free if we stayed 4 or 5 nights.Room: The room was clean but humble (the bathroom was a bit outdated with holes in the door that hadn't been patched, no hand soap was available but they gave us extra shampoo on request). We put their sign on the door that requests maid service three times and did not receive cleaning services once. The beds were mostly comfortable.Food: We ate at the restaurant, which was pretty good (lovely service). We charged it to our room at their suggestion. Breakfast was not included, and we had to request coffee every day so we could have it in our unit.Check-out: We decided we wanted to leave one night early but didn't want to check out until after 5. Because we had already paid for the night, we weren't worried about it. We checked out and headed home. We were surprised that, despite not receiving a full invoice for the room and restaurant, we were charged almost $700 when we ought to have been charged only $550 (including the meal we charged to our room). When we asked them about it, they gave us some excuses and refunded us for $100, which wasn't the full amount. When we called again to ask for the rest of the money, they accused us of taking breakfast (which was an extra fee) even though we didn't. After much waffling, they refunded us $40, which was still not the full amount. To date we have yet to receive an invoice, and they seem intent on keeping the remaining $10. At this point, my husband had spoken with them three times and doesn't have the time or energy to chase down the remaining money. The price of the room doesn't seem to warrant the experience we had with the service, amenities, and weird accounting practices. We wanted to, but won't be recommending, unfortunately.

My wife and I went over the wknd. A short stay but very pleasant. The room was very clean and the beds comfy. The view is amazing to say the least. Lots of outdoor seating including a fire pit.We played a game of mini put, it was more for the sake of doing an activity. Depending on ur expectations it may leave something to be desired. But its mini put guys, dont get ur hopes up.The staff is very nice and even though I'm completely bilingual, when speaking English they did their best to accommodate me.The complementary breakfast is what it is. Due to covid the kitchens are closed and they do the best they can. We got homemade muffins with an orange juice, a slice of brick cheese, and a piece of fruit. I'm not a big breaky eater so it's fine by me.For a wknd to a few days it's a great place. A week or more I'm not sure I'd have enough things to do. Just a personal opinion. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay. From the staff to the rooms it was all very pleasant.

Fawlty towers, Quebec edition. They are clearly gearing up for the start of a new season with new staff. The best part was the breakfast hour where an entire dining room of frustrated guests took matters into their own hands and served one another coffee and toast, as the overworked staff couldn't keep up. No breakfast was served if you didn't go and scrounge up something for yourself. Dinner the night before had two of six plates returned for being comically salty. They made it right by striking the dishes from the bill. They are struggling to train their staff, surely things will settle down as the season progresses, but it was pretty rough.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel is older so some parts show its age but the rooms were comfortable. The staff was very nice to us.This hotel's COVID-19 handling was some of the best we saw, starting from a sink with soap outside the entrance to the reception (which is so much more enjoyable than that gooey sanitizing solution), they sanitized the counter at the front desk between guests and also sanitized all the pens used by the guests. We didn't eat at the restaurant (we had other plans), but it looked nice. There's a lot of stuff for families at this hotel. Mini-putt, as well as some games on the basement level.

Cleanliness was lacking. I encountered a hair in our coffee machine and one of the glasses in our room had a lipstick stain. Expensive for what it was.EDIT: the owner below falsely claims we enjoyed our stay. This was false and not the case. Absolutely nothing was offered to us when we mentioned the above unpleasant findings in our room.

This hotel/motel is a good option to stay at isle aux coudres. It’s on the sunrise part of the island so you can lookout your window and see the sun rising from the river. All rooms face the river. There is a hotel and motel section. The hotel is on an elevated floor and has smaller windows, the access to the motel is from the parking lot. I would suggest to take a motel room with Covid regulations so you avoid people and washing your hands and wearing mask before entering. The motels are accessed directly from outside. The rooms were spacious and bathroom was also spacious. It was outdated decor but clean. They have facilités on the ground like a swimming pool and playground for kids. There’s a fire pit and several chairs to site on the hotel grounds to watch the water & sunset. The walls between the rooms are not that isolated so could hear your neighbours talking or watching TV. There is NO WIFI available! They say they had one but there’s a bad connection, I was never able to get it. Also data service isn’t so strong on the island.
