I recently visited the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and was absolutely mesmerized by its beauty and grandeur. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight of magnificent architecture and stunning stained glass windows. Absolutely stunning and well worth your time. I literally had tears spring in my eyes on entry. The artwork, the sculptures...just beautiful. We were lucky enough to be there as a choir began. Beautiful.

Great experience. I'm glad we took the time to go in and admire the place. This is also an active church so obey the signage and I'd suggest showing care and respect as you admire the architecture and paintings. There are sections that are blocked with signage asking for no photos.

It's one of the ancient churches present in Canada. Architecture of the church is well preserved, the wall colours inside the church offer a vibrant look. Tickets are not that pricey and the family ticket can be purchased at a discount. You can sit inside the church at the benches provided. Purchase tickets in advance to skip the ticket lines during holiday and weekends.

This Basilica is breathtaking. I go to see these places for their religious value, and am blessed with the beauty beyond compare" experience. The architectural and historical value are phenomenal. I chose not to buy the guided tour

I loved seeing this Basilica and if it was just a building I'd be ok with paying a fee to enter it but sadly they also make those who want to PRAY pay. Even to light a candle. That I don't agree with it. The building itself is in great shape. Such beauty. Hand carved everything. Gorgeous pictures. I advise you to buy your entrance tickets online in advance. There is a large line up right as the church opens but if u come later there is no line up. There was a pan handler outside yelling at patrons that they should think about where their money goes. How dare u pay to see a building and not spare change for those on the street. Etc. He scared many of the kids and a few adults as well.
