One of the best Indian grocery store in Halifax. Highly recommended this store for all kinds of indian groceries, fresh veggies, sweets and spices. Wide variety of frozen food items. Really great customer service.

Stunning store with various options of fresh vegetables and Indian spices...being a regular customer, I would definitely say this is the best indian grocery store in halifax.

We stumbled into Redchillies by accident while on our way to a nearby business. I first have to say, it's very misleading from the front door! The store is actually quite large inside and does not feel overly crowded. We browsed the many aisles of items - I was even able to find a few items that are difficult for us to find otherwise (some of my favourite tea, a jalfrezi curry for my husband, and some specific spices) and we usually have to go all the way into Halifax. I was curious about a few items in the shop that I didn't recognize and the store owner (or who I assumed was the store owner) was very thoughtful in explaining them to me. Prices for what we buy regularly were average, nothing out of the ordinary that we noticed. Produce looked fresh and wonderful! Excited to try some other items in the future.

Good place for fresh veggies. The owner always is helpful and keeps the patrons informed about when these veggies arrive. Definitely recommend!

We ordered from red chillies recently for take-out. We ordered 4 dishes + naan. It fed four of us easily with seconds and some left overs. We did request the food to be less spicy which is an option when you order. The flavours were so delicious. When we picked up our order, the restaurant was busy and seemed popular. I wish I had taken a picture of my tasty meal but it didn't last long enough :) Recommend!!
