Normally I don't like to write negative reviews nor happy anyone criticizing so this is not personal.The car engine light indicated there is a problem and could hear the sound something was off, my old mechanic was busy and told me to go here.Operator said engine code shows misfire, so they will start with the coil before moving to cables and spark plugs which will be costly. So I got a call that the issue was in the coil and I was very lucky.But I was charged $572, the coil and parts was $261 but the fact is on internet the cost for a Dodge Caravan Ignition Coil Replacement is max $137 for premium part so that's $100 extra. Just something to watch for.If you want minimum effort with maximum cost I recommend this place. 2 starts because I have seen worst.

I attended this shop, clearly explained that I was getting a shudder between speeds of 60-70 as well as a shudder immediately after putting gas in my tank. I suggested it might be something to do with fuel sensor. The mechanic tested the car, acknowledged the issue and said it was probably a transmission issue. The front desk told me the mechanic said my whole dash went out and my air conditioning came on by itself. They tried to book me in with their electrician. This has never happened to me, I’ve owned the car since it was brand new. I asked the advisor lady at the front if they checked anything to do with fuel getting to the engine. She said “how could he, he’d have to fill it with gas to do that”. I was astounded! I paid and left. Went to a reputable shop who found the shudder was caused by the fuel pressure sensor not working. There is nothing wrong with my transmission or electrical.I would never recommend this shop to anyone! When I was leaving the building I overheard the same advisor telling another customer how expensive it can be to find an electrical problem.

I had taken my car to the Shop for a few minor repairs and an oil change and had always a good advice. I could ask any question without fear of getting a stupid answer. If I am in Nanaimo I would bring my car here again.

I explained my problem :- wheel seals leaking oil on brakes on both sides , we discuss the problem and then they repaired the problem on time. We had it repaired twice at other locations and it continued to leak. Ron and his mechanic did a great job as I made it home without the problem reoccurring. They gave excellent service, I am very happy with their service.

Ron was absolutely incredible, he went over what needed to be done and gave a very accurate time on when to expect the work to be finished. Even gave a 10% discount since my rear brakes didn't sound bad so nothing was done with them.He's also a joy to talk to, 10/10 will be recommending to friends.

Dave is an excellent mechanic, his assessments of what your vehicle needs are honest, and his prices are far below what I've been quoted by the Toyota dealership.Now, a year later, with Dave having retired, I was uncertain about how good the new guys would be. I gave them a try and found them to be professional and honest. Excellent work, guys!

The only positive part of the experience was that they were flexible in timing and took on a job with short notice.The bad. They charged around $350 for an oil change for my diesel sprinter. This is easily twice what a normal diesel mechanic would quote for a very simple oil change. Could be because they took the job on in short notice and added the price of convenience. I'm not sure. Either way this is way way over market price for a job like this.

Tim was fantastic! I called in a panic & he was able to diagnose and fix my vehicle within hours, plus a nice wash! Highly recommend, will definitely be back for future service

Ron from this NAPA location is such an amazing staff. He was super friendly and caring. We were on a road trip passing through the city when our vehicle‘s brakes needed replacement. He got us into his busy schedule and made sure that we knew exactly what was getting done. Such a heart warming experience!

I needed to get my AC fixed, they responded back quickly got me in within the week and fixed my car in two hours or so. All super friendly! Ron is a great manager, and a thank you to the mechanic (I am unsure of his name, he had long reddish hair)!
