People have a lot of negative things to say about Nova Scotia Power in general, but as far as this particular substation goes, I think it's pretty good. I live nearby and we rarely have outages compared to other parts of the province or even other parts of Halifax. Not sure if that's directly related to the substation, but either way, I don't have any major beefs with it. My only complaint is that its fence is a wind-trap for litter which looks ugly:(

Reprehensible and complacent! Telling folks on Cornwallis and surrounding areas that they will have their power restored this evening at 11pm, and now not until Tuesday night at 11? Are you going to give those customers a credit? And replace groceries now having to trash? A big nope. You're a huge disappointment NS Power.

It's a nice sunny day with no wind and almost 10,000 people have been without power all day. NS Power has a monopoly and it shows. Absolutely disgraceful.
