I always love Esso, earn those PC Optimum points.

Very friendly staff.Very clean and there is an artist who regularly posts portraits that he has drawn just above the counter. I always enter waiting to see what the newest piece of art is... which now that I think about it isn't something that I usually associate gas stations with

I experienced probably the worst customer service here with a friend that I've had at a gas station. When my friend and I went there for a car wash, not only did the cashier laugh like she broke it on purpose to inconvenience people as she told us it doesn't work, she also sarcastically suggested we file a complaint with the manager if we weren't satisfied. The next time the wash was working, the belt was taking awhile to catch the tire and begin pulling the car and the cashier got super snappy when we asked about it. I do believe that a potato has better customer service skills. I will not go back.

Everything was great. Loved it, I don't know why people have such negative feedback. Update 2023- huge improvements in all aspects.

Usually more expensive than other places for gas and just about everything else. Good if you collect PC points for gas.

I regularly get my gas at Esso so feel I'm knowledgeable of the Kingston Esso locations. I remember when all of Esso stores were torn down and most gradually rebuilt with a car wash and Tim Hortons. This location on Princess Street between Portsmouth and Sydenham Streets serves a big area.On my most recent visit, I had to fill up both my vehicle and a gas can. I was filling a gas can because I use the highest octane gas in my tractor.I didn't notice until I filled my car's gas tank that I didn't get a receipt. Similarly, there was no receipt for my gas can. It was annoying that I didn't get a receipt because I file them. I had to go into the store and request two receipts. The clerk didn't seem surprised that I was asking for a receipt but made no comment or apology. Getting the second receipt was much more difficult and I had to ask about three times before one was produced. I think the clerk didn't understand what I asking for.This Esso station never seems to have many vehicles at the pumps. Maybe the reason is the poor service.

Terrible service got gas put nozzle in tank numbers started to roll on pump before even squeezing nozzle went inside to tell them ump was not working properly. She told me had to pay the 78 cents told her no to call manager refused .Payed my $68.01 for the fuel I did get and left will be filling complaint with Esso this person should be fired immediately extremely rude

this store would've previously earned a 4 star rating, as I have generally had great experiences in the past.However.The last 2 times I was there, not only was the service of questionable quality, as far as I'm concerned, one of the employees tried to scam me out of cash while stealing from the store itself.The time before, I was flatly denied a free car wash (promised when an employee fails to mention it before processing payment.when I mentioned it, I was given a poor excuse, then he argued with me. Ultimately, I sent me husband in to deal with it, and after arguing AGAIN, he was given a BASIC car wash, not the higher end one that is promised by the signage.I have seen/heard other customers have various issues at the store, with varying degrees of politeness, knowledge, or willingness to listen/compromise/admit fault.So no. Unfortunately, this store no longer rates 4 stars.

Filled up gas and did a luxury car wash… looks like washer did a very goood job. Never again very poor quality. I don’t understand what’s the point of paying so much

I really like to get gas from them cause it gives me back my PC points thank you Esso
