In my opinion, this music store is an important pillar in our community. I believe it’s important to support independent-family like (non-corporate) businesses, and One will find behind these doors many products, but most importantly, One will find Canadian made instruments that sound lovely. Moreover, if you’re not familiar with musical instruments and are nervous, I assure you the Staff behind the counter hold a vast amount of knowledge and are kind.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable when you ask a question. Leo does amazing work on violins and is very friendly as well. A wonderful place to do business for all your music needs.

I brought an 1958 Martin guitar into Thorold Music be looked at. Leo took the time to explain the different issues with it, and what needed to be done. I’m not super knowledgeable about guitars, but I was treated honestly and respectfully. I wasn’t at all oversold on anything, and the price was reasonable. Leo brought it back to playing condition and did a top notch professional job... St. Catharines is lucky to have such a great music store.

The Customer service and product knowledge was superb on my trip to Thorold Music. Great customer service, a veritable wealth of parts to upgrade/repair your own instruments with, and amazing brands that aren't just the big three (Fender, Gibson, Ibanez). If you're looking for a great place to pick up a new axe, Thorold Music should be your first and only choice for quality
