Deep River & District Hospital

I would highly recommend going elsewhere for ultrasounds especially for pregnancy. I had to go there when Pembroke didn't have space for me so had to come here for my anatomy scan. I wanted to find out the gender at home with my husband so I asked if it could be written in the report to my dr, NOT TO BE GIVEN TO ME AT THAT APPOINTMENT. I was told no can't do that. So I was upset so was able to call my husband over the phone (which is better than nothing). But I just got the information in the mail from my dr that they indeed DID mention it to the dr in the report. So going forward I will NOT be going back to deep River for an ultrasound it was a very stressful experience being 21 weeks and 3 days pregnant. The person at the registration at the hospital I found was great. But I won't be going back there for anything again as it was too stressful for my first experience there and I don't care to deal with a negative place again.

This is a review for the women in the emergency room at Deep River Hospital. Do your job properly and take people seriously. Just because you think someone isn’t sick or injuries doesn’t give you the right to make them wait hours longer. Your no where near being a Doctor so let the real professionals do there jobs. If you can’t do that then maybe let a profession take your position. Thank you!.

Dont bring your kidsFriendly but made me and my daughter wait 4 and a half hours with only 2 others before me( in the middle of the night ) . Just to get a prescription. This will be me and my family's last visit at this facility.

Excellent hospital. If you have to be in the hospital it’s the place to be foods good nurses and doctors are great

If you or a child have a disability do not go here or bring them to this hospital!! The staff have zero knowledge or compassion for the child, person, or caregivers. As a mother who brought her autistic child in I was appalled by the blatant lack of care towards my child's mental and emotional health. Aswell, my own physical well being when the care my child was receiving made him violent. I was forced to hold my child down. My child had never hurt me before his visit here. Staff witnessed extreme physical violence towards me for hours and didn't offer any help. Infact they ignored me, and my child. I'd gone here because I'd heard wait times were short. My visit proved otherwise. Locals recommend this hospital profusely, I will not be one of them. If you have a disability or care for someone who does I recommend Pembroke hospital. The staff there cares. They have private waiting rooms. The compassion and knowledge base they have greatly outweighs deep river hospital. I will not be returning.

It is a great hospital, great food, awsome nurses & doctors... I was a patient for a week... If I ever won 20 million $$$, I would give $10 million to them... Eric Samms

I have never felt so cared for at a hospital in my life. The doctor and nurses were formidable. I highly recommend coming here if you are in need of medical services.
