Callingwood Dog Park
The dogs are soooo friendly, the owners are very pleasant, and the terrain is great for dog games and for easy hikes! What a great place on a sunny afternoon, even if you just love dogs, but aren't lucky enough to be owned by one!

Callingwood Dog Park
Great little park for a lunch break walk. Small, but sufficient parking lot. Many little trails that branch off, and a nice little opening in the middle with picnic tables, garbage cans and benches. It's perfect for when I bring the dogs to work and need to stretch our legs. The only downside is having the woods directly on a main roadway without any sort of barrier or fence. If a rabbit ran through the woods and across the road... well, my dogs are a lot like lemmings.

Small community park. But has a lot of interesting stuff. Has a wooded area with path, a stream and a little bridge over that stream. Found this park while visiting west Edmonton mall. There were other dogs but all very well behaved. Good for a short walk. Not big enough for long runs/walks/fetch. You need to look for the library and park near the recycling bins in front of library.

Great dog park in the west end. It's a decent size, enough to get the pup tuckered out. There are walking trails through the trees and an open space for social play. Convenient parking. There is no fence, but that is not an issue for us.

I always went to Beuna Vista Off-leash until I found Callingwood Dog Park. People are super friendly and that is reflected in their dogs.

Love this place. There is plenty of room for your dog to run. Great paths through the woods. My dog and I love it here!

So this was the only dog park we could find in this area and unfortunately for us there was not a fenced in area. Be a great addition to this dog park to provide both options. Nice area though with lots of walking trails. Wish dog parents would pick up after their pets as lots of poo on the trails so be aware of that.

Callingwood Dog Park
First time here, I was less than 30mins walking around checking it out and in that time my 9month old puppy got bit by a larger dog and I saw an owner struggling to control his dog while yanking it by the collar. It's unfortunate because I saw other reviews of people having issues with irresponsible owners but decided to try it anyways.Besides for that it is fairly small and the entirety of it can be walked in a few minutes.Will be avoiding this area as much as possible.

Nice relatively big open off-leash park with a mini ravine and wooded areas on each side. It's not fenced and beside a school so hopefully your dog will stay close to you, or avoid during lunch hour. There is a small little tent set up in the trees on the east side that had some empty liquor bottles etc around it in the fall that me a little nervous but it doesn't look occupied (at least during the winter).
