SOS Children’s Village Thrift Store Foundation - Steveston

Staff is fantastic and we had such a good laugh. Yes I found some great finds for a great price. They are trying to compete with higher boutique items for their charity. Fine if you find what you love. My husband and I still found some great bargains.

The best shopping day ever! I love this Thrift shop. I went into buy kitchen items and clothing and came out with more than that. I bought Christmas presents .The staff were helpful, the shop was well organized and the orange and green tags were a very good price. They had premium second hand goods in great shape and lots of variety so I bought my dearest sister her Christmas gift. Thank you to the staff who helped me. It was so much fun. I'll be back soon.

Stepping into this store in Steveston is like stepping into a boutique! Everything is beautifully displayed, and everywhere you look there are lovely little areas of similar things and coordinated colours. Everything is clean. And check out the stunning window displays! The Christmas one was mesmerizing. All the different areas are artistically put together by obviously gifted people. Everything is clean and there's no mish-mash of displays here!

I used to love coming to this little cute thrift shop in the village and also enjoyed dropping off items for donation.. in the past. Unfortunately, I’m going to think new management has happened and price tags on items are ridiculous now. Leather jacket for $200? You must be joking. Not even Salvation Army prices their ‘luxury goods’ that high.Please remember you are a thrift store and it is the little dollars that add up to help raise money for the children in need.Pricing things that are more than what the actual item costs brand new does not make sense and you will lose business quickly.You receive donations and most of your staff is through volunteering. I just don’t understand why the prices the last 7 months have gone through the roof.Will take my donations and purchasing elsewhere.

I love this trift store! Ive been coming here since I was a kid and its just so lovely. They have great selection and prices, alot of different things from clothing to kitchen items. The staff are also very nice and friendly. Definetly a highlight when going to steveston.

My roommate found a beautiful van Gogh print here. Such a great find! The lady’s were so helpful. I was able to pay and pick up the next day with ease. She even helped me get it in the car cause it was quite large. I love supporting small businesses and it it’s a plus when it’s charity based. Thanks for the art and good giggles keep up the great work ! Also must say the price was reasonable considering how prices for Everything has gone up and let’s remember it’s for a good cause.

Excellent thrift shop! The staff are always super friendly and ready to help. The shop is well organized and the displays always look beautiful. So many neat little things you can find. The prices may be a bit higher on some more luxury, vintage items but it’s going towards a good cause!

I love this thrift store. I often stop by while on my daily walk. I love how the items are always so nicely displayed. I have found several unique items of clothing and pieces of jewelry over the years at a fraction of retail prices. I really enjoy browsing through the store and chatting with the lovely ladies working/volunteering.
